Lubricant for progressive press

Dry graphite works well in most places because it does not attract dirt and make a grinding compound. I do grease my ram.

I use a dry lube on anything that contacts powder, primers, or cases.
But the rams on my two progressives and my single stage get Lubri-Plate grease and maybe a drop of turbine oil if the grease starts drying out.
Those Zoom oilers from WallMart are turbine oil. It's a good non detergent oil.

I've found that a little Imperial Die Wax on my ram almost makes it work too easily.

On my Dillon I use a light coat of motor oil. Penetrating oil on the hinged joints, and denatured alcohol to clean powder and primer bars.

There are grease zerks on my LNL so I use grease.
Hornady One Shot or WD 40 dry lube helps too

Ballistol all around.

10w30 or whatever gun oil is within reach. Use sparingly.

I have a can of 3-n-1 SAE30 oil that I use on the ram and handle linkages. I like it better than car motor oil or grease because it does not smell.

I use Breakfree on all my presses, for lubrication and to keep rust off bare metal.
