Autocorrect strikes again.
I have a barkeep with the 2" barrel. I was thinking about ordering the birds head back strap and grip. I noticed that heritage has birds head models with 3-4 inch barrels. I am just wondering if these are all actually the same gun (rough rider). What I would like to do is get my hands on one of those 4" birds head models and switch the back strap and grips with the barkeep. Any information would be appreciated.
I have been seeing the Heritage guns around for some time now. Never was interested in the western style "six shooters". Viewed them as just cheap guns. But then the Barkeep caught my attention. Decided that any respectable gun owner should have at least one single action six shooter. Turns out I enjoyed shooting it a lot more that the Ruger Mark III that I used to own. I guess I'm just more of a plinker than a target shooter. Plus the Heritage guns offer the ability to make some modifications without breaking the bank. So far they seem like decent guns for the money.Interesting that I am from Miami, been a gun aficionado my whole and have never heard of Heritage until the Barkeep started showing up everywhere. Seems they have 45/357 Colt clones also and a price point to compete with Uberti.
