must have in 2021 Revolvers

Today I handled the must have revolver on my list - a S&W 25 in 45colt with a 4" barrel. A 25-6 model in superb condition and priced right out of my reach......
I sold one I got cheap enough several years ago...like a dummy- I thought I did not need another cartridge to load for and figured my .44's were good... ended up trading into a bisley Blackhawk and a .45 colt Redhawk I could not pass on and grabbed a cheap 45 blackhawk convertible I came across- I wish I had kept that model 25... in too deep now to get out...

A few posts back, with regard to a Model 25, I said "I'm going to try to talk myself out of it this evening but, historically, I've never had much success at that."
Well, I have to admit to being a failure. I tried. I really tried to talk myself out of it. (anyone who believes that, raise your hand. :D ), but I just couldn't.
Oh well, there's always room for one more.

I will admit that a .45colt mountain gun is on my bucket list....maybe not in 2021, ...but someday.

I too wanted a .45 Colt MG. As timing would have it there was one for sale on GB the day I started looking. I picked it up at a reasonable price. It had Hogue rubber stocks on it...I replaced those with Ahrends stocks in Cordia wood. Great revolver. Sometimes timing is everything.

Great Looking. Somewhere out there there is a .45 Colt MG like that with either Ahrends or Hogue wood grips that has a Walt Sherman roller action tune.

How do you like those JM grips? I prefer the 1911 grip angle and most revolvers feel like they're meant to be shot more from the hip or point shooting than the more "target" or "combat" angle of the 1911. I have a 15-3 that I'm perpetually seeking stocks for and have been looking at the JM's. Sweet wheelie!
