The "full faith and credit clause" is not really relevant here. In general, state licenses, such as professional licenses (doctors, lawyers, plumbers, etc.), hunting and fishing licenses, etc., are not valid across state lines. Even drivers' licenses would not be, except for interstate agreements doing so.

What are recognized are so-called "ministerial acts" such as marriages and divorces, and court decrees generally.

Same place Trump was last year, trying to get re-elected after not serving his 2nd amendment focused electorate to their liking.

It’s been the Republican way of doing business since the last Bush POTUS and one could argue since Regan. Talk a big game but do nothing proactive, what did Bush do for all the people that elected him and handed him an (R) House and Senate? Nothing, just let the AWB sunset.

Unlike the Dems that actually make things happen when in control the R’s choose to dangle “your gonna loose everything if you don’t vote for us.” Thats how you get the frustration that caused the election of Trump and turning plastic stocks into machineguns, just a path to eliminate self feeding firearms all together.

They don’t seem to get “lesser of two evils.” Doesn’t get people out to vote like “This guy gets how I feel and has my back on the issues that matter to me.”

Propose things when you know it can't pass. Don't do it when it would push your party to show where they actually stand.
This is why politicians are useless.
Now we're stuck unable to shoot as much as normal because everyone lit their hair on fire.
 
They are trying to compromise, no deal yet.
