11 years, 8 months, and 4 days, but who’s counting. I was led here by google search on topics I was interested in. The amount of $’s I’ve spent and guns I now own because of what I’ve read on here is pretty high. I don’t regret any of it.
I only wish I could know some of you in real life. The only member I have met in person is @Walkalong, not a bad one to start out with I’d say.

Creeping up on 20 years here----don't post as much as I used to but usually give the forum a quick check every day. Man I'm getting old.

I migrated over here from TFL originally

February 2009 for me apparently. I'm on ... probably half a dozen other forums. This is the only one I recommend to others. Thoroughly lives up to it's name.
Thank you mods, and especially to the other members. I don't post much, but I've never felt intimidated or afraid to post. Clearly a class act here.

Years ago I had the crazy idea of searching the web with a gun question, never heard of a forum before. Well, I found polite and knowledgeable folks here with good answers, and every time I tried it I ended up here, so I joined up, stumbled through learning how to participate in a forum, and I’ve been here going on 15 years now.

Every once in a while I'll go check something on other sites and I'm amazed at the bickering and contentious atmospheres.

Thanks to all here, with props to the mods, aside from being a highly knowledgeable database, this place is an oasis of civility.
With everyone here armed, cocked and locked, it pays to be civil. Lessons learned?

I hated the new forum software when it first switched, now I can't live without it. Long live the high road!
