I'd be more interested now if they do released it in .30SC. I wonder if Sig knew about it when they started working on it
Chambering the P365 for .30SC would make much more sense than .380ACP. AND you could probably carry an additional 2 .30SC rounds in a 12rd sized magazine.

I think chambering the P365 in .380ACP is a waste of effort.

If things go according to plan. I should be able to get a browning tomorrow at Cabalas. Depends if they do the NICS via computer. And if there in stock. I cant write with my hand from my surgery.

The 365 in 9mm is pocketable, but the main drawback for me is weight. Now the 380 version is just and ounce or two more than the g42, which I consider the biggest pocketable pistol I carry. That is the main selling point of the LCP Max, it’s weight. Sure isn’t it’s shooting characteristics nor dependable.

Like the earlier version, it's in an "off-size" class for me, too big for pocket-carry, and too small for belt-carry. I bet it will be a nice shooter, though.

It won't replace my LCP-MAX, which was already in the supply pipeline the day they were announced (I got mine the next day.)

image.jpg ^ why is it too small for belt carry?

I carry my max on belt with Bianchi 101-10 and I like it better than PC.
I bet the 365 would make a dandy carry with this holster, was going to invest in a second Max but I’ll give the 365 a good look first.

Not fully comprehending the need for 380 when 9 mil works so well.
Russians have a proverb about the above, or about a half of this whole thread: a fed man not reckons the hungry ("сытый голодного не разумеет").

This has been a big topic over at SIGTalk, and the consensus there was it wasn't going to happen.
Like some PPs, I'd prefer it to be smaller or flatter than the regular 365; do consider that gun pocketable with an Alabama kydex pocket holster. And, despite some stiffness in the hands, really consider the 9mm version to be extremely 'shootable', and tolerant of a lot of shooting.
Neither of these last really describes the LCP; still keep an original one as a high concealment option, but the damned things just aren't fun to shoot. The new Max, and the LCPII, both bite my trigger finger in recoil, tho' their trigger is better than the original.
But there may be some real market for the new gun; it won't replace my G42, which remains just a little smaller and lighter than the 365.
