The handle on my Lee App is 1 3/8", and it is very comfortable for me to use. I have probably normal size hands so if you have large hands, 2-21/4 probably would be comfortable for you to use.
i put on a rolller handle right away on my dillon 550 when i bought it as i thought it looked cooler and that there must be a significant imrpovement over the base ball handle. after several years i put the ball lever in. i end up torquing the roller handle frequently and to avoid it i end up handling the handle between the roller and the bend which puts pressure on my palm over a smaller area.
apart from the thickness is there a way to put more of the roller above the lever instead of off to the side?
In a way this is like what size gloves should I wear. I squeeze my hands into 9" gloves. A 1.5" handle would be my choice.
If you have long fingers. You want a larger diameter.
This forum recommended just putting a baby sock on my 550 factory ball! I did and have never looked back!
I’ll admit the baby had to go all winter with only one sock, but my hand sure was warm and cozy! Kinda like my 3 legged hog!
