Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Nothing. For months. My personal "range" is a gravel pit a couple of miles from my house. Currently covered in a foot or more of snow.

I was going to do a comparison video on my YT channel between my SA XD 10 mm and my Glock G29 when shooting for speed, but too much snow means no cases being recovered.

So, no gratuitous video of 10mm speed drills

After a year on backorder these showed up today:).

Heads up for anyone looking for Nambu ammo: I backordered 2 boxes of Nambu 2/9/22 from Steinel. They stopped accepting backorders months ago. When I got the email that my order was coming I figured I would take a shot and see if I could order a couple more boxes. I called and spoke to Andy who said no go. They only got enough components to fill half of the backorders. They expect those to be filled soon and hope to begin filling new orders in April.

I have been hoarding what little I had and am looking forward to a shooting a couple of mags. BTW when I ordered mine it was $55.99 a box. New price is $69.99. IMG_4129.jpeg

Won't arrive for a while, but I just ordered a Bergara B14R Trainer, so I got my only planned firearm purchase for 2023 done in the first week. Since I parted with four rifles and a handgun in the last two months, I figure it's justified. :)
Nice, my CZ 457 Pro Varmint is also a great "little" 22lr rifle. Lol the bull barrel would be at home on a 308 let alone a 22lr.

Ruger Precision Rimfire for about 2/3 retail.QUOTE]
Let us know how it shoots! I was debating getting one of those or my CZ 457 Pro Varmint and I decided I liked the wood laminate stock on the CZ and I'm happy with it. It shoots CCI standard velocity 40gr ammo in very good groups and it will stabilize the Aguila 60gr stuff as well! I'm just waiting for my SilencerCo Sparrow to get out of jail which should be in March at this rate, I've been waiting since June.

@270OKIE, the rings shown are mediums. The 20 MOA rail is high enough that low rings should work.
Ah thats neat. I didn't realize it had a pic rail on top sorry. That would give you a smidge more clearance. Mine has a 13mm(I think, I can't remember if it's 11 or 13...) dovetail rail built into the top of the reciever.

Ordered some NOE powder thru expander kits to try in 9mm & .45acp. Makes loading coated bullets easier.

Also one regular expander plug for my .22TCM expander die. All of the above expanders are “M-type” and should allow easier bullet placement on the charged cartridge.

Exchanged several emails with Al Nelson, NOE owner. He answered all my questions and got me on the right track with my order. It’s refreshing to work with a small business instead of a big corporation!
