Looking to get into a 7PRC. The two I'm looking at are the two listed above. Understanding that CVA is equipped with Bergara barrels I'm curious as to any other pros and cons between the two? I'm looking to eventually run a suppressor on it so I'm taking barrel length into consideration as well. The ones I'm finding are cva with a 24" and the b14 with a 22". Leaning toward the later for a suppressor. Aside from that are there any benefits to having one over the other if the price was the same for both? Thank you in advance for any info!

B-14s a 700 clone so stocks, triggers, rails etc all work and are far more plentiful.
Barrel threads I believe are also 700, but the breach is coned not recessed, and the bolts are completely different.

The CVA dosent have the same support, but if your not expecting to change parts much/,ever indont think theres much difference between them.

Regardless of your choice, both rifles are capable of excellent accuracy and performance with the 7 PTC cartridge, especially when paired with a quality suppressor. Be sure to consider factors such as ergonomics, stock design, and overall fit and finish when making your decision. If possible, try to handle and shoot both rifles to see which one feels best to you.

They are both very good rifles. I ran into a problem with the CAV I had and it went away. It was a 223 and would only chamber shorter rounds reliably. There's a lot of space in front of the bolt and once a round clears the magazine it has a tendency to catch on the edge of the chamber and not let the round go in. Shorter ammo is more reliable by a large margin. Also the all plastic magazine in the CVA will shave a little plastic off from the cartridge rim and it'll make the follower drag and also cause feeding problems. The Bergara rifles I have don't have any such problems. I have a HMR that is just beautifully accurate and when asked what I did to make it shoot that good my answer was "load it".
