Hey, Gifted..... sweet..... how much for one?
I'm not taking commissions right now. If I get good, and settle out a good technique, I might.

There are many other makers out there that do though, and you're looking at $300+ depending on type and quality.

Blinky Lights
  • Computers and networking (everything from hardware to routing/vpn/web/mail/security)
  • Distributed Computing (help manage one project, participate in several others)
  • I generally prefer BSD-based operating systems on the servers and a Windows desktop
  • Computer gaming (FPS, driving and flight sims)
  • Communications, such as scanning and ham radio
  • Electronics in general
  • There is a 19" server rack in my bedroom, which really sums it all up right there.

Torque
  • My Chevy pickups
  • Anything interesting, with two or more wheels, brand and vintage not all that important. I'm into old school hot rods, modern pro touring cars, factory performance cars, sport trucks, bone stock classics. Slight bias towards mid to late 60s GM cars and trucks.

Recoil
  • My small collection of pistols and rifles
  • Anything that breaks stuff and makes a lot of noise, up to and including air-dropped and missile-launched munitions. Tremendous explosions are a plus. Fire is an added bonus.

Other interests
  • Beer (Czech and Belgian, but there's a lot of top notch brews coming out of California, Indiana, Minnesota, Delaware, and Michigan these days.)
  • Camping
  • Road trips
  • Stand-up comedy (Brian Regan, Jim Gaffigan, Lewis Black, Mitch Hedberg, George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Lenny Bruce, etc)
  • Music (Classic rock, blues, metal, classical, big band, old school rap)
  • Movies (too many to list)
  • History
  • Whisky
  • Reading (scifi, hard scifi, hard science, general fiction)
  • Fishing (mainly as an excuse to sit in a boat all day and drink beer)
  • Bickering about politics on the intraweb
  • Trying to stay in touch with all the great people I've become friends with over the years
  • Generally being a big giant nerd
  • Causing total strangers on the internet to doze off at their computers by posting huge, boring lists

Hmmm, my hobbies besides shooting...

1) Alpine skiing
2) Reading
3) Backpacking
4) Camping
5) Hiking
6) Taking care of a hyper 1 year old boy

-Martial arts
-Cars
-Motorcycles
-Guitars
-Cigars/tobacco

Martial Arts- nope
Cars- the old ford pickup gets me to work everyday and to the farm on the weekends but that's it
Motorcycles- terrified of anything with less than 4 wheels
Guitars- kinda sorta
Cigars/tobacco- not anymore

Aside from shooting, when I get a break from making bottles and changing diapers, I like to bowhunt, surf, golf, run, and blow things up.

I am mega addicted to paintball. I have tons of money and time wrapped up in the sport. I currently have over ten PB guns, and we aren't talking about the WalMart specials. I try to play two or three times a month. It's a great rush, and a great workout. Plus I have met some really great people. Bottom line is that it is seriously fun.

Other hobbies are:
Cars (new or old, foreign or domestic)
Motorcycles (I love sport bikes and crusiers. I currently ride a Ducati and Kawasaki Z1000)
XBox360 (another addiction of mine. Rainbow Six Vegas and Forza 2 are my games of choice)

hobies include other than guns are reloading, civil war reenactor, dumping a ton of money into my classic muscle car, refurbishing old houses, playing with my grandkids

After firearms:

Reloading: There is at least one perfect load for every firearm, and I'm looking!

Hunting: Anything, any time, but the favorites are deer and wild hogs. (This explains why a .50 cal flintlock is my "squirrel gun."

Horses: Riding, training (trying to start a mounted SAR unit in the area)

EMT with local VFD.

JWB

Reading Sci Fi & fiction & somewhat collecting my favorites (I sold a bunch & I think I am below 1000 again.)
Building PC's & playing on them.
Reading interesting blogs & browsing internet communities.
(Glad to have found THR. Seems to be among the best of the firearm forums.)
Listening to thrash metal mainly & most rock music otherwise.
Trying to get back into lifting (a recurring hobby lately.)
