I saw a poll for the US Concealed carry and I was wondering. What magazine do most people choose with their NRA membership. (I know not everyone here is NRA, if you aren't... I'll include a "I'm not in the NRA" choice for you).

I personally chose American Hunter because I have plenty of gun magazines to choose from and (at least in my view) fewer Hunting magazines.

American Rifleman.

America's First Freedom was ok, but had many of the exact same articles as AR, and the ones that were different weren't interesting enough for me to keep getting it in addition to AR.

ETA: You can get more than one mag per membership, it's only like $5 or $10 more per year.

Get both, the AR and the AFF. It will cost $9 for the second mag which is a great price for any 12 issue magazine.

As someone pointed here, the AFF and the AR have some duplicate articles but the AFF has some political stuff you will not find in the AR. BTW, AFF is only about politics and 2 amendment which is great.

AR.

I figure I don't need AFF because I can find out what the NRA is doing to by reading the GOA's frequent chain letters. ;)

Rifleman seems to be more focused on equipment. American Hunter has more on, well, hunting.

Both have a lot of the same "extra" articles: Armed Citizens, Alerts, etc...
