Wow. So I know this is inspired by the shootings recently, and my views on weapon free zones.
I'm a pretty big advocate of concealed weapons permits, and I had a dream that made me feel even more strong about them.

I had a dream that I was going bowling (weird...I know) and that there was a sign on the door that said "weapon free zone".
So In the dream I Take my Concealed Carry Gun out, and lock it in my glove box.
Go inside, having a good time bowling. Go to walk over and look at something a few lanes down, and some guy is like 'HEY BRO! Why don't you stay away from our lanes"?
I'm like...."I don't know what your problem is, but I'm just walking through. Chill out."
Guy gets up and knocks me in the Ball Retrieving machine (the one by the lanes that brings your bowling ball back to you).
He then proceeds to stab me and I can count that he stabs me 44 times.
I, for some reason in the dream, had no power to fight back. Couldn't even hit the guy. Just got stabbed under the left arm in the rib cage 44 times.
I remember barely being able to breathe and the pain was super intense and sort of stumbling out to the front of the building, and noticing the "weapons free" sign again on my way out.
Horrible. I remember seeing an employee come running out to see if I was OK, and I remember yelling "YOU DID THIS TO ME! WHY WOULDN'T YOU ALLOW ME TO PROTECT MYSELF? YOUR WEAPON FREE ZONE DID THIS!!!!!!!"
I also remember being at the hospital and the doctor saying "It's better that you got stabbed and lived, than retaliated by killing or threatening someone with a gun! You're going to be fine eventually, but the other guy would have been killed if you'd shot him. It was a good thing you left your gun in the car. You should probably get rid of it, because it's only going to make situations like this worse".
I remember feeling like I was crazy in the dream.... like I was the only one that saw the need for the protection. I dunno...that's all. It was horrible.

It was a scary dream, and I woke up feeling edgy.
I don't usually remember dreams, as I suffer from pretty bad insomnia, so it was strange to even have a dream at all. I maybe have dreams 2 times a year! (I mean I know you have them multiple times a night, but I never rememebr having any when I way up, if I even slept in the first place)

But seriously, calm down a bit. I have dreams about home invasions/ww3/shtf, but they don't get posted here because I don't get that worked up about them.

I'm sure most posters on here have dreams involving some use of force for some reason or another, but it's best not to let it eat at you enough to post on public forums - if for no other reason than a DA could point to some of your posts and show a pattern of irrationality or instability.

Just my $0.02, though.

^Nah! I'm sure it's a regular dream for someone to have.
I jsut suffer from some insomnia, so I think I have days worth of issues cram themselves into 1 dream! hahaha
GOing to the doctor to find out why I have insomnia, so hopefully this is a problem solved soon.
I just thought it was an interesting dream, and I'd post it.

Check your heart condition
Seriously
Dream about pain in heart/chest area (wounds/pain/etc) could actually be caused by a real starting/progressing cardiovascular issues. Could also be caused by digestive stuff like acid ref./"heartburn"

What are you worried about NightWing? It's not as if anyone has actually ever been murdered in a Gun Free Zone or anything...

Remember, it's only a dream and could never ever really happen.

Perhaps you need psychoanalysis. Perhaps you need medical attention. Perhaps you just need a change in diet. None of those things are available to you here. This isn't the place to work out your issues. APS isn't group therapy either, but over there they do discuss a wider range of topics. Maybe you should go there.

I second the dream about chest pain. A dream about chest pain and helplessless is a classic sign of heart trouble. See a doctor.

P.S. I had a dream that I was using an M79 grenade launcher to fight rapelling ninjas off the side of an office building, until one got too close and I had to beat him off with my ASP baton while he scratched me with the cap of an unopened beer bottle. It was pretty intense.

Two words...

"Liberal Implant"

Clearly the left wing has planted a chip in your melon...have it removed.

Your dream is a textbook symptom of an inadequacy issue. Figure out what part of your life you feel impotent about and address it.

Running too slowly and ineffective punching are other examples of this type of dream.

Lawyers and psychiatrist! Who woulda known :)

Your fine, The interpretation of dreams is incredibly controversial.. Don’t let it get to you.. Stay positive!

Once I had a dream that the Intratec CAT-9 was a horrible little piece of work, and hurt to fire.

Wait, that wasn't a dream.

Blogspot could also be useful for you.

Fully OT. Done.
