I was thinking of the folks at Briley Mfg, makers of chokes and sellers of shotguns, etc.. They are in Houston.

If anyone has any word on how they fared in Hurricane Ike, please post it here. Much of Houston is still without electricity, and some parts could be dark for days or even weeks.

Tom, I don't have any personal knowledge of Briley's offices. But several folks I know close to their location have power and fared well unless the roof to their building was damaged and water got in. Generally, the west side of town was hit less severely than the east side, as east of Houston got the "dirty" side of the hurricane. There were no substantial flooding issues on the west side of town either that I am aware of. For example, I understand Katy is generally fine, while those to the east of Houston are still hurting. By the way, love GunTalk Radio.

Noskilz: Thanks for the info. I was concerned about the Briley folks.

We're up to about 400 videos on Gun Talk TV, by the way. Lots of basics for people just getting started, and more advanced stuff for experienced shooters. Working on some new things now. (Heck, we have 50 videos shot and in editing, too.)
