Mosin Nagants are like Lays potato chips...you can't have just one.
I bought my second about a week ago, an Izzy 91/30, dated 1938. My other one is an Izzy M38 dated 1944, IIRC. Everyone says they hurt, but if you shoot them from a standing position and pull it in tight to your muscle, not bone, they are quite pleasant to shoot.
I haven't shot MY 91/30 yet, but I visited a friend this weekend and shot his. Much less recoil than the M38 and M44. Problem was, he only had about 40rds left and didn't bother to tell me so I could bring a few hundred with me.
