Trading for a "Colt"

Well the guy told me it was a 3rd gen Colt, so I think I'll call him on it and reverse the deal. Afterall he made the effort and representation. I wanted a good BP. Like I originally stated, I was lusting for a ROA, not a POS:mad:

It is clearly not a 3rd Generation Colt, as others have said and you have acknowledged. I think articap has it right. ASM attempted to enter into a licensing agreement with Colt to manufacture and market clones of 2nd or 3rd Generation Colts using leftover parts from those production runs. Some guns were assembled and sold before Colt nixed the deal. It's very likely one of those guns. The $200 estimated value, and both Finger's and articap's cautions about parts apply.
 
Kid, jus' to put my $.02 in...the Yugo is a Milled reciever correct? I hope you at least have one or two Russian SKS's before parting with it.
As far as I know the any reproduction Colt/Dragoon could be called a 3rd Generation Colt, but not a 3rd Generation Colt Signature Model Colt-Colt...ifin ya follow me.
I got a 1st Model Colt Signature Colt that came with a rounded TG instead of a squareback...as far as I know Colt Sig. Dragoons start at about $450-$500 now fired. Unfired askin' prices up to maybe $1000 or more.
I would only consider sellin' mine at about $500...

As far as SKS's are concerned, I've got a Russian, 2 Chinese and a Romy. I will have my Yugo back in a couple of days. Thanx to everyone who posted here.

6th Edition Blue Book lists the Signature Series 1st Model Dragoon at $600 for one NIB/100%. The round trigger guard instead of squareback would add maybe another 10-20%.
 
No this Dargoon Sig. 1st Model was fired and came with only an R&D Cylinder...came in A+ condition but no box... SN37062 if that helps any. If you could find out I'd like to know...Thanks MCB.
