If I'm going pocket-carry, it's this....

This is true for every season, not just summer.

I haven't had time to take decent pictures of my recently purchased SIG P238, except a couple pictures while shooting it.
Offhand at 52 yards. I like to shoot compact guns at a little distance.

It looks like it the SIG will replace my current pocket carry guns, Kel Tec .32 and P3AT and Micro desert Eagle.

Why does summer make a difference? I carry a full-size 1911 in a Crossbreed Supertuck, a Blackhawk Serpa, and a Galco Miami Classic. Same as winter. The season doesn't change which gun I can use the most effectively.

And, I pocket the Kel Tec P11 year around, too. Pocket carry is the only way I can carry 24/7. Only difference in winter and summer, here, is I usually wear long johns when a front blows in and I might get to wear a vest or light sweater. I will occasionally OWB a 3" .357 with the extra cover garments. I really HATE IWB and only do it when I feel the need to. I have the option to IWB, but I do that about as often as I carry my .380, which is nearly never.

Same as always

Kimber Tactical Pro II or G23 in an IWB with an LCP in my front left pocket. The only thing that changes are the clothes. In the summer I go to shorts or light weight pants with a T-shirt and a short sleeve over shirt. In the winter the pants are jeans and in addition to the t-shirt I wear a long sleeve pullover with a long sleeve over shirt. If it is really humid I might drop one or the other. Oh, yeah I don't think my newly purchased ankle holster for my 637 is gonna work with shorts.:D
