I sent a quick e-mail to RCBS yesterday and told them I wanted to order a couple small parts for my hand primer since they are not listed on their site, nor can I find them at Midway. Within a couple hours they e-mailed me back and said they were on their way and would be covered under warranty. I wrote back and thanked them and told them I broke them and it was my fault, and their reply was - "You are welcome, we just need you reloading. Have a great day."

It's nice that the reloading industry has such great support from any of the manufacturers that I've dealt with.

Both RCBS and Redding have sent small replacement parts under warranty even though I was more than willing to pay for them.

I've bought used rcbs dies that were missing expander ball and stems, call rcbs no problem parts will be shipped today.Never an issue with them

Funny, the reloading equipment makers have all been top notch customer service wise.

I've had problems and absolutely fantastic fixes from RCBS, Lee, Redding, and MEC. Many of them my fault.

Don't own any Dillon or Lyman but I hear the same about them. Actually not true I have a Lyman scale but I haven't broken it yet ;)

That's a nice way to do business, wish there was more of it.

Dillon & RCBS have done the same for me, many times over. Lyman was nice a couple years ago, but charged me. Lady at Lee (about 15 years ago) was semi-snotty & I had to argue with her to get a warranty item replaced. May have changed now...

You will find that kind of service with most all of the gun related companies. Reloading companies seem to be the best. I called RCBS once and told them I broke a depriming pin. They didn't just send me one, they sent me five.:what::neener:

I just may have to give them a call. My grandson was helping me de-prime some .357 brass using a universal de-priming die and not only bent the pin 90° but bent the shaft as well.

The reloading manufacturers as a group provide customer service organizations that are simply amazing. Their service is unmatched in nearly all companies I've ever dealt with, domestic or abroad.

My kid broke the screw-on cap for his RCBS kinetic hammer. He was down in the dumps thinking he was going to need to buy a whole new hammer. It stayed busted for about 6 months. On a phone order I asked if I could buy just the cap. Not only did RCBS throw it in for free, but my kid thinks I'm a hero.

RCBS sent me Dillon parts for a scale that I bought off Ebay for free. THe scale was a Dillon ,but , is made by the same manufacturer as RCBS. For some reason Dillon didnt have the powder pan (which was what was missing). The Dillon CS rep told me too call RCBS. I did, told them verbatem the story I just told here. RCBS said they didnt care your free pan for someone elses product that you bought second hand is on the way enjoy.

Dillon didnt have to send me to there competitors , but , they did. RCBS didnt have to give me anything for free but they did.

Hornady has excellent CS. They have sent me multiple small parts for free to go on their loaders. Their CS reps will stay on the phone with you until your problems are resolved. I bought a 366 loader off Ebay and it wasnt sedt up right. I called twice a week for 6 mos trying to get this thing dialed in. Finally their CS rep told me to just ship it to them. I sent it in and they replaced half of the loader and a couple of the dies. They set it up for the load I was trying to make and sent it back to me. They charged me $30.00 for shipping , but , was a great deal and saved me a lot of headaches.

Lyman and Lee have the worst CS of the reloading industry. They both want money for everything they do. The others are fine with you just choosing their products over the competiition and will bend over backwards to make you happy. Not the 2 L's though. I refuse to buy Lee products b/c of this issue. Sure their products cost less at the store , but, you will spend what you saved if their is a problem and still have the cheapest made reloading product on the market. Just buy some good products from the word go. You wont regret it.
