After buying a used RCBS Primer Pocket Swager Combo #9495 at a gunshow,I found the small support rod was damaed and bent. The vender STIFFED me.I e-mailed RCBS about getting a replacement, and in about 4-5 days they sent me a new replacement,FREE OF CHARGE !!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOWS THAT FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE ???????.THANK YOU RCBS for great products and AWESOME customer service . hdbiker

I bought several RCBS die sets circa 1970. About five years ago the depriming rod in the 30-06 set snapped in two. RCBS replaced it no questions asked and also sent a little pack of replacement pins.

To be honest, I've had similar responses for Lyman, Hornady, Dillon and others. If the rest of the world's CS was as good as the shooting industry's, it would be a much more pleasant place.

Couple of weeks ago...I had a 223 case (lubed) seize up in the resizing die...all efforts to remove were going no where....ended up hammering the decapping pin/shaft down and out of the die, bent the shaft doing so. Sent RCBS an email asking where I could find a replacement...as mine was not a threaded shaft, but a smooth shaft, using a compressing collet to fix its length. RCBS replied same day, telling me my die set was so old, that it was discontinued, parts no longer available. I replied the die was undamaged, just the decapping pin/shaft was bent. A day later, got an email from RCBS, saying they were sending me a part that would convert my old die from smooth to using the new threaded shaft, and two days later.....the part arrived, with TWO new shafts with decapping pins....NO CHARGE....

Always good to get the shaft at no charge.:D

RCBS trumps Dillon in my book!:)

Bent a decapping pin holder on a cowboy die with its unique decapping design. I have a pair of replacement pin holders headed my way, no charge.

I have a RCBS Pro 2000 and used their warranty service once which was great with no charge for parts, HOWEVER, I have had the same service from Dillon on my 550 and 650 when parts were needed. Both companies offer great customer service, never dealt with Hornady but sure their service is top notch to.

If you are going to use it on a Lee Calssic Turret you will need their oversized case stripper. Mine wouldn't retract enough to strip the case from the swager punch.

I have only had to call RCBS once and I was very impressed.

My old hand primer lid (round style) wouldn't stay tight and primers were flipping upside down while priming. I called RCBS and told them of my situation and they said to expect a package in a few days, no questions asked. To my surprise when I opened the box they didn't replace the lid but instead sent me a NIB entire Universal hand primer (square lid). Anytime I need a piece of equipment, I remember how they treated me which is why I look at RCBS first as my way of saying thanks.
