What is your most fun rifle?

It has to be a Winchester model 94, one of the easiest rifles to shoulder and aim and shoot ever made, everyone should own one!!!

and Savage 17 HMR bull barrel, thumbhole stock, 20X scope

I know this might be laughable to some, but a Savage 24 in 22/410 is quite fun. Not high capacity, not extremely accurate, but a good social gun to shoot.

Where did you find a legal full auto AK?

CZ 452 Lux in .22WMR.

My M&P15-22

Definitely my AR. Semi-auto + accurate + low recoil + reliable + "evil black rifle" syndrome + Geissele SSA trigger = guaranteed good time.

Well my black powder was my most favorite just because all the smoke and the big boom and everything that goes with a BP, but now that I have a Winchester 94 in .444 I have two favorite rifles.

I agree with a lot of the guys on here that like their M92 Winchester repops. They like their .357s(and .454s and .45s) and I gotta go for that...except I'm one of those guys that can't leave "well-enough" alone. MINE is a .256 Mag with 21" barrel, and tang-sight.

I have read this thread at least a half dozen times, and couldn't fingure out what to post. I like it...makes me think. <<My wife says I should try that more often>> Alas, I drift.

I am having a dickens of a time trying to decide which one rifle is my most fun. I actually walked over, opened my vault and looked inside. I half expected one of them to jump-out at me. None did so. It seems that each has an attribute, or three, that really catches my affinity.

That aside, if forced to take a single rifle to the range, or to the field, I would have to take my Remington M700 Police, .308 Win. With its customizations, it weighs in somewhere in the range of 19ish pounds. It is blistering accurate, and at the present weight, recoil? What recoil?!

I can turn the Nightforce 12-42X56 scope to 42X, and fire at a 300 yard target. I never lose sight of the target...the rifle just lays there, even under "recoil". It is so fun to watch the steel target react on my dueling tree.

Yeah, I guess I do have a favorite...for today. Tomorrow I may prefer my Winchester M70 Stealth .308 Win.

My favorite rifle to shoot would be my unmodified Saiga in 7.62X39. 2nd place would go to my Colt AR15A2.

A good .22LR rifle usually is the most fun for me. Especially a lever rifle version against plinking targets.

My M14S Tanker pictured below is in the #1 spot, followed closely by the other rifle at top. M1A-A1 Bush rifle.

Target shooting, Appleseed, hunting, friendly competition, etc......
Always has been, and most likely always will be.



#3 is an M1 Carbine with 30rd GI mags and Ramline stock.

Yugo M24/47. Loud. Kicks hard. Hits Hard. Accurate enough. Smells - cosmoline - when hot. Scares fellow shooters (I'm not sure why). Oh yeah, milsurp ammo costs me 21 cents/round.
