Agent Cooper's revolver in Twin Peaks?

A picture would help.

Looks like a Smith & Wesson Model 66 with a 2 1/2" barrel.

I don't have a picture of mine at that angle, but here's my 3". The proportions are a bit different. Pretty sure that's a 2 1/2".

Should be a Model 66 with the 2.5-inch barrel. That was the hot snub for federal agents.
