[MOD TALK: This could be fun, but remember our raison d' etre: this must remain strictly gun/shooting related. So, feel free to show how you've done up your shooting/reloading/hunting cave. Thx.
mine is more of a Man-Ville.
the place we have now has 2 2 car garages, one has a heated 15 x 25 foot workshop behind the garage nd a hayloft up stairs, that's the wife's. the other has a very small workshop in back, and a 1 bedroom guesthouse on the 2nd floor. I convinced my wife that she should take the fancy heated workshop for her beading and copper enamling, plus the hayloft for her animals hay. and I would take the smaller workshop for mine. she agreed and we also agreed that I couldn't tell her what she could do in her space, and she couldn't tell me what to do with mine.
then I started to gut the guesthouse, and turn it into Man-Ville. I'm still working on it, but it now has a full bath, kitchen minus stove and oven, but with a fridge and microwave. a wood stove and lots of shelves and storage places. it also has a 10M indoor air pistol range, and a 25 - 30 mile view out the windows from on top of a hill.
here's some shots.
out behind
wood is now stacked and not in the way of my clay thrower / range.
My man room is in my unfinished basement. It is mine, but more like a cave decorated with gun stuff, Iowa wrestling posters, and 82d ABN stuff. It is not exactly a source of pride for me, but its all I got! I'll try to take pics later, so you all can be green with envy .
Yes I do. Actually my "man cave" is the entire cave complex. I keep the gun, hunting, and fishing stuff consolidated into one bedroom though... mostly
My new bench is still being built, but, as soon as it is done I'll put some pics up. Unfortunately it runs lean on actual decoration though.
The flag is an actual cloth flag and has some sag in it from being flown. I reversed it, because it hung better, I will now see if the slight sag works out over time. The "New" flag flies from the pole on the porch, like this one used to.
Mine is upstairs, now, but looks like a cyclone hit it. I'm in the slow process of moving and when I get my garage built in the new home, it will contain enough space to build a dedicated room for my reloading, along with a few guns.
