Gun or guns you regret selling.

I regretted selling one gun ... it was to a pawn shop and a week later I bought it back for more than I got for it ... a couple days after I got it back I shot it and remembered why I sold it in the first place, I traded it off a few months later ... at a loss for the second time.

Ever since then I make sure I know why I'm getting rid of a piece and if I do get rid of something to cover another expence ... its nothing that can't be replaced. For instance, I don't see myself ever getting rid of the Beretta M70 I got from my Dad, my '49 Marlin 39A, my AUG A2 or any of my pre-type II Kimber 45's ... and only a slim chance I'd get rid of any of my NFA goodies.

On the regret list, the 5" and 6 1/2" Smith 27's, the early Smith 38-44 outdoorsman with the factory special order adjustable sights and ivory bead front sight, the nickel Smith 22 kit gun, the Smith 24, all of the several Colt Single Action Armies I had at various times, all the several original Winchester 1886's, Colt Diamondback 22, nickel Colt DS, the Colt National Match, along with the Ace kit, the 1911 made in 1917, the satin nickel Combat Commanders, and the Marlin 39-A.

Oh well.

Of all the guns I've sold in my life, I only regret selling 2: A CZ 75 SP-01 Tactical and Bushmaster XM15 E2S. I should have kept them, they were sweet shooters. I especially miss the Bushmaster AR, I dedicated a lot of time and money in that thing...:(
