Most accurate .45 handgun you've shot that isn't a 1911 variant?

I wouldn't scoff at an HK Elite .45.

Relative tie between a Sig P220 and and XD .45 compact...

Pardini GT45. Everything else that is non-1911 and claims to be accurate at 50 yards is a joke.

220 and HK USP.

Simply put, this is THE most accurate and most reliable .45 acp handgun I have ever owned.
Light mounted or off the gun doesn't matter.
When I eat my Wheaties, breathe right and do my part, this gun will consistently shoot 36 rounds into a 1 1/2" hole at 50 meters bench rested.

Offhand, it is accurate enough that I can call my shot placement on silhouette targets to the same distance.

I have not shot the CZ-97 but recently purchased a full size S&W M&P45. I have been very impressed with it's reliability and accuracy. It has been totally relioable with 185 gr. LSWC, 185 & 230 gr. JHP and 230 gr. FMJ loads. Ten shot groups at 50 ft were 1 1/4 to 2 inches.

Either of my Old Model Ruger Blackhawks, 7 1/2" barrels.

The most accurate non-1911 .45 that I've ever personally owned/shot is the Springfield XD-45. When I do my part, it's ridiculously accurate.

Like Gottahaveone my XD-45 was amazingly accurate.

HK USP Tactical and a HK Mark 23

S&W 4506. Have only shot a few non 1911 .45's. My 4506 is pretty impressive @25yds.

Well, hell, you know this thread does say "most accurate .45 handgun not a 1911". With that as a parameter, my Ruger stainless .45 Colt blackhawk beats my P90. It groups 1" at 25 yards with a 255 grain flat nose at 950 fps and with a 300 grain Hornady XTP JHP at 1120 fps.

I know, that's cheating, but hell, so's a Smith revolver.

My S&W 1917.

I have an older SIG P220 in 45ACP that is a tack driver. Bought the stainless version a few years ago to gain weight for recoil reduction and it will not hit the side of a barn at 25 feet.

My 625 is the most accurate 45acp I own. But it requires special handloads to do that.

Mr. Mark they call me Redneck...i know you said not a 1911 varent but the Kimber Eclipes II target pistol is the most accurate .45 acp pistol i've ever shot. I picked one up in march and I'm not sorry. i can consistantly hit stationary clay targets at 25 yards. If you dont get that CZ get a eclipes II, you wont go wrong...but what do I know I'm just a Redneck...
