Just waiting for the dies to come, I have lots of brass. We should also post recipes here that are close to GP-11

I don't have the ability to reload, so I wouldn't know about that. Like I said in my OP, this should be a thread about the K31 and it's predecessors, information such as simple modifications, tricks and tid-bits of information to shoot your K31 and earlier Swiss rifles more accurately, and what have you.

These rifles are amazing, bobson! They should be worth $700 dollars for how amazing they are. Just don't tell the distributors that!

With a K31, I'm not going to be one and done. There will be more, eventually.

Hi guys. There are some fine looking Swiss rifles on this thread.

Scored 4 Swiss rifles a few days ago at an auction:

Nice rifles. My dies just arrived and I got 120 pcs of Prvi brass! Stoked!

Do you guys that reload just try to mimic GP11 as much as possible? Who makes bullets that are similar in ogive to the surplus stuff?

The late Joe Bonar from Novaks customized this Danish contract SIG.

As much as possilble. However, fine reloads can be made with a variety of bullet weights and powders for the Swiss rifles.

I recently bought a box of the new Barnes "Matchburner" 175 grin .308 match bullets. Here is a picture that I took of .308 175 grain match projectiles from Barnes, Nosler and Sierra next to a projectile from a GP11 round. To my eye, the Barnes is closest. I've read that the Berger 175 gr VLD bullets are also close, but I refuse to pay almost $.50 per projectile for the Bergers.

Sierra MK, Nosler CC, Barnes MB, and GP11

I've been using 168 grain bullets in my Swiss with good results up until now. My best results came with 168 gr Hornady AMAX's and IMR 4064 powder. The results of a shoot off that I had with Prvi and my reloads in a 1911 SR (5 shots @ 100 yards):

I just use GP11 as much as I can. I have tried the Privi ammo which is rubbish compared to GP11, and my reloads dont even come close.
So am buring through my stash of 5K GP11 on hand, that I keep adding to whenever possible. :)

GOPGUY: is your AMT 7,5 or .308?

Have always wanted an AMT, however the STGW is what we have available around here.
Either way they are wonderful rifles. Am trying to convince the wife to let me buy the Zfk 55. Lets see what happens.

Some fine looking weapons in this thread.
I'm a fan of these myself.
Here are mine, although my photography isn't as good.
