I'm thinking about switching my collection around.. Ive fallen in love with CZ products. Ive swapped my bolt gun to a cz527, im about to swap my full sized nine for a cz75... What do y'all think? swap my mossburgs for cz shotguns? My marlin model 60 for a cz .22? what do you fellers think?

Meh, I love Winchester rifles but I am not going to trade in all my other stuff for Winchesters. I like diversity, no matter how much I like one particular firearm or manufacturer. Now there are certainly some makers that I would not purchase.

I gotta say though. Im a cheap gun kinda guy... and for all around quality between platforms, I have to say, cz is awesome! I mean, ruger may be the only one who can complete cross platform and im not a big fan of ruger rifles... I don't know if they make shotguns? Winchester is a bad example because in my opinion theyre rifles are the only thing worth a damn, their shotguns are okay....

I say, why not?
If it works for you.....

I think you can't go wrong with CZ anything!

I carry a CZ P-06 everywhere, and have for 4yrs now.Excellent brand, have been underrated for years.Every just realizing how good they are, especially for the price!

No accounting for taste.

Your money, your guns. Enjoy yourself, life is short.

I just got back from the visitation service for a close friend, feeling kinda philosophical.

Redheads are nice, but so are blondes and brunettes. Don't dump one for another. Keep 'em all.

Eh, I really like my CZ 455 , but I wound up selling my CZ 75 for a G19, and would do it all over again... I like to have what fits me best in each firearms category regardless of the manufacturer. If you switch out all of the firearms you have collected thus far for different ones based largely on brand name, methinks you might regret your move once the brand lust has calmed.

I don't have much room to talk though, I wound up selling off another rifle tonight to help satisfy my Winchester obsession.

I have two CZ-75Bs in my collection - one is a daily carry and the other, well come on, when a gun is this good you just need another.

I'm looking to add a 97B to my collection and eventually a 750 sniper.

Great company, great guns, but I do still keep a diversified collection (Beretta, Browning, Sig, Walther, and Ithaca are all represented).

Keep your current guns; buy new ones (CZ or whatever else catches your fancy). Do this as long as you can financially afford it.

As the former owner of a CZ 97B and the current owner of a CZ P-07, I can say their pistols are great.

I don't know about their other stuff but I wouldn't be too ready to move away from either mossy 500 or rem 870 for pump scatterguns. Mostly just becase of aftermarket parts availability.

They do have some bolt guns chambered in 7.62x39 that I would love to try. It would not only be cheap shooting, but would make a great hunting rifle to compliment an AK, Mini 30, Vz. 58, etc. service rifle. Well, assuming that you didn't just want to use one rifle for both applications.

Oh, and they also have a number of rifle options with iron sights. I appreciate that and it seems fewer companies are offering that in bolt guns.

Now if only they would make the Bren 805 available in semiauto here stateside.

I'm an owner of several cz rifles and pistols. Before you trade your shotguns check out the makers and history of the cz shotguns, Im pretty sure that CZ does not or has not it the past made the shotguns with their label.

I would go all Browning if I had the money...

I think that selling all for CZ is a perfectly rational thing to do. I'm thinking about moving in that direction myself. I have no intention of selling all of my non-cz stuff but I am thinking about selling some to fund CZ purchases.

Fella's;

I regard myself as a CZ guy, but I wouldn't go so far as to sell everything else I have! And, as has been mentioned, I don't believe that the current "CZ" shotguns are made by CZ, they're made in Turkey by Huglu & branded CZ.

However, I can understand the desire to own more CZ's, once you have one, you keep shelling peanuts. I'm even creating my own left handed CZ452 fullstock (Mannlicher) .22lr simply because I want one & CZ either doesn't import them or make them, I'm not sure which. I'd also like to see CZ import the left handed version of the 550 action in a wide range of calibers, specifically to include the 6.5 Swede.

But, sell all my other guns! It'd depress the market!

If it makes you happy do it. Why worry about what anyone else thinks?

They seem to be Ok guns for the price, although the only one I own is a 452. Their pistols don't do much for me.

Yep, Mater, that's the one. I would love to have one of those! I'd love to have his personal range too but at least the rifle is actually a possibility for me!

You'd probably never guess that I like CZ stuff. But not everything they make is great. Their shotguns aren't anything special or so I hear. I've yet to see a semi-auto CZ rifle yet so I can't say much about them. Most of their stuff is good but everything? I have my doubts about that.

For some reason I really like American made deer rifles. I could care less about the country of origin for handguns or shotguns. But deer rifles and rimfire need to be American.

I really wish I could get over that. I hear good things about the CZ rifles.

CZ's shotguns are made in Turkey by Huglu. I have a 712 field model and a 712 utility model I have set up for 3-gun. Both guns have been great with only a few hiccups, which were my fault.
