I think most will agree no gun out of the box feels right to carry, it took me a long time to get used to the idea and feel, but when it becomes second nature you have achieved your goal, I carried for yrs. in a none carry for self preservation and after a while it was natural, that gun a Taurus 908 is still one of my favorites, being in a warmer state I recently purchased a Walther PK 380 lighter and in the price range I wanted to spend. I use both at the range.

Name the Best Range Gun That Is Carry-able,- my Smith and Wesson 4" M-19.

Best Carry Gun You Can Shoot Accurately- my Smith and Wesson 2 1/2" M-66.

STI Guardian in 9 mm. It's my primary carry and an excellent range gun. Like all my other STI pistols it's smooth, reliable, and accurate.

I'd have to say my CZ P01. Fairly light yet still quite easy to shoot accurately.

I shoot the CZ 97b SAO better but man is it heavy.

Slightly heavier than G19 (27.5oz) similar capacity (14+1). Infinitely better ergos and slimmer form factor.

Agreed.

Hard to say, but probably one of my HK USPs. I have a USP45 Tactical and a USPf9 with a Match Trigger, and both of them are tack drivers. My HK P30S is very accurate but the trigger isn't as good as the Match Triggers of the USPs.

Best range gun that's carryable would be my STI Lawman 5.0, in .45 ACP. It's fantastically accurate, and as a Government Model sized gun, it's plenty carryable. I've not actually carried it, but have carried other GMs. It's primary mission in life is as my USPSA Single Stack gun, though I want to try it for Bullseye over the winter. I guess a match gun is a kind of range gun.

My best shooting (and primary) carry gun is a Colt LW Commander, in .38 Super. It's the reason I've never carried the STI. It prints groups about double the size of the Lawman, but that's still pretty excellent for a combat fitted gun.

I am not sure it would qualify as a "best range gun", but my makarov 9X18 is a nice size for carrying, and is a really fun gun to shoot at the range.

5" Kimber 1911. On the large side for ccw, but there is nothing I'd rather have if things go south (other than a good rifle!) I've put nearly 20,000 rounds through it, so there's a real comfort there that isn't easily replaced.

I think what the OP meant was...

"Name the best range gun that is carry-able"
Which big gun do you think you can conceal even though it's big:
For me a Springfield 1911.

"Best carry gun you can shoot accurately"
Which small carry gun can you still shoot accurately:
For me a 2" S&W M640.

HK P7M8

The fixed polygonal barrel and overall fine craftsmanship makes it very accurate. All steel construction and gas delayed blowback make it very controllable.

When I took the NRA BP Instructor course, I outshot a lot of guys who were using French, Austrian and Croatian polymer guns.

Same here. I hate it but my Gen4 Glock 26 is simply fun to shoot at the range - mostly because it's a tack driver at combat distances and I don't shoot much bulls eye style anymore. It's 5, 7 and 10 yards for me and I have to dumb it down when shooting it so my Wife doesn't give me "The Look" and accuse me of showing off.:D

I hated Glocks and all polymers no more than 6 months ago now the king of plastic pistols is my soul mate.

We can't legally carry yet in Illinois but we can at the farm in Iowa and this little devil hides in a pocket, excels in appendix carry on me, and I'm considering an ankle rig for when I'm going Business Casual.

Love my Glock 26 and I'm ashamed to admit it.

VooDoo
Yep. I carved out some range time today, and took my Baer SRP to get some more trigger time and finish breaking it in. I shot a hundred rounds through it and let some others shoot it, then thought I ought to practice a bit with my carry gun, a G26. The little fugly just shoots - 11 rounds in a 4" circle at 10 yards, in about six seconds. Those are the two I'd pick, although my G30 is close to both.

My Ruger SR9c has been impressively accurate. For a compact I can out shoot some of my larger frame guns. It definitely raised my expectations of what accuracy should be out of a compact, leaving me disappointed in some others.
At ten yards It's very easy to keep all the holes inside of a 2.5 in. circle shooting free hand. For a polymer the trigger isn't too bad either. Under no miss-interpenetration is it match grade, but pretty descent for what it is in it's price range. Sometimes when I shoot it I even think to myself," I know I screwed that last shot up. How in the h*** did that hit bullseye?"

My best range guns that are concealable are my P228 or P229.

My EDC is a Walther PPS though. Slimmer and lighter than my Sigs, and I shoot it just fine.
