Cimarron Type II Richard's Conversion with an El Paso Saddlery rig.



Winchester 1897 and S&W Safety Hammerless that I generally shoot with blackpowder loads. They're both 115 years old so B/P seems safer and is way too much fun (especially out of the 1897).

Not yet, but I've been thinking about it. I think I'd need another sixgun to be able to enter most matches. I have no ideas what's available in this area (northern Virginia).

I'll have to go take some photos of mine and post them. I only own two, but now I think I need more.

Neither is a Remington at all. They are the Spiller & Burr repro and an original Whitney.......Beals was working for Whitney after he left Remington BTW and the Confederates copied the Whitney design in brass as the S&B.


pohill's collection is amazing, makes me so jealous I think about driving up to Georgia and burying a brass frame colt '51 repro at Griswaldville so I can dig it back up and truthfully say I dug it up at Griswaldville.......just joking guys....

Here's most of my percussion except for a couple of large single shots. The Navy, Army, and 3rd Dragoon are 2nd gen Colts while the Walker and 1849 pocket are 3rd gen Colts. The little derringer was from Dixie Gunworks and the Elgin cutlass from Classic arms. I have Italian copies of the Navy and Army to shoot.

Both are pockets (sorry for the crappy pics)

The navy pockets are Cimarron/Ubertis 6.5 barrel 1865 pockets of navy caliber (36). The burl walnut grips were done by Walt Marston and they are in a Bill's Cases London style case

The police pockets are Cimarron/Ubertis with the unique "Sam Cotl Ney Work" markings they did a few with, 5.5" barrels, a Bill's Cases Hartford style case, and imitation ivory grips by Walt Marston using a interesting swirled reconstituted ivory material from RT Research that has goldenish swirls all through it and looks like aged ivory

Nope. Whole thing was made by Tom S. a friend of mine for his wife Carol. This
is what my wife has to compete against at Friendship. Carol is a very good shot too.
