What's the most accurate handgun you've fired?

Tough call, but I would have to go with my pre-25 45acp in my hands. 50 shots, 15 yrds offhand. Only one dropped out of 50 so I would call it pretty good.

Sig 210, and believe it or not, a Star PD. Sig 220s, 228s and 225s are in the running. Not to mention most any Smith and Wesson revolver.

Auto loader: STI (make unknown, guy was shooting our "fun match" and brought it out to play). H&K USP Tactical/Expert/Full Size/Compact all in .45 ACP. I have shot all of those, and owned the Full Size and Compact. They were all much better than I was.

Revolver: That would be either the Smith and Wesson Model 19 that a friend tuned up for bullseye, or the Colt Python I had a turn with. I don't know which was better, but both were far better than I am.

Ruger Mk III Target. I'd say it's a tack driver, but tacks are too large of targets. :)

Second most accurate is my FN Five Seven. I can pop soda cans at 100 yards with it.

My most accurate pistol was a Glock 26. From a wrist rest ,I could shoot a 1.5" group with little effort at a 50 ft. distance

What's the most accurate handgun you've fired? And in which chambering? I'm asking the question as pertains out-of-the box, not customized, handguns.

Back when Evolution Gun Works (EGW) was still building competition guns, I had a chance to shoot one of their bullseye guns that an LGS / LGR had at their rental counter for people to try out; this one had started life as a .45 ACP Colt Series 80, and except to the original Bo-Mar sight, it looked like a stock gun, but the frame & slide were the only remaining original Colt parts. Far and away the most accurate gun I ever shot.

I've got a Browning Buckmark Bullseye model that has turned in some groups of an unbelievable 0.20" at 25yds. Several revolvers that will do an inch at 25yds with select loads.

Ruger GP-100 in .357 Mag 6" barrel. It is a very accurate round out to 75 yards....or at least that's the extent of my comfort range with it! In a close second would be my wife's Springfield XD in 9mm.

MarkII 6" bull
GP 100 6" SS

Both are far more accurate than I am or my eyes.

Both will do 1" with 10 rounds at 20 yds which is about
all I can see

Aside from a .22 target pistol, I'd say the most accurate handguns I've fired are the M&P 45, a Sig C3 1911, and any of the 4-inch barreled revolvers I've tried.

Rifles are another matter. I haven't fired one that wasn't accurate. Ruger 10-22, AR15, Savage 7mm-08.

Mine was my brother's brand new Dan Wesson 357mag back in 1971. We went to the clay pit with gallon jugs of water and the new gun in it's original box, took it out, loaded it with Remington bullets from the hardware store an proceeded to blow up the jugs and shoot limbs and anything we could find til we were out of ammo. Having only fired one 22 revolver before, we both hit everything we aimed at. It had adjustable sights, but we didn't touch them and it was dead on for both of us.:rolleyes::cool:

I have a custom 1911 that at one time was fitted with a 2x Leupold scope, and I made a lasered 159 yard shot on a ground hog with the 9mm barrel in the unit. I had had several opportunities to range in on a few shots over a few days, but once zero'ed, it only took a single shot. Custom pistol by SDM Fabricating, and barrel by Kart.

The most accurate pistol I've ever shot that I own is a .357 Blackhawk old model 7 1/2" with a close runner up tie between a Wilson Combat 45acp (which I don't own) and my 1957 model 28 S&W 6".

I don't know if the Wilson Combat qualifies as a stock production gun.

Semi or revolver DA
Smith 52 or custom Fred schmidt , both 38 wc only

Break action, encore in 223 but the savage 22-250 will give it a run for its money

I have a Ruger MKII bull barrel 5" that shot like a rifle with a 2x scope or open sites.

Combat guns I've had capable of 1" 25 yard groups:
Sig M/49 (P210) 9mm
HK P9S 9mm
HK P7M8 9mm
S&W PC 945 .45
EAA Witness .45 Carry Comp
S&W Model 10 heavy barrel .38
Ruger Blackhawk .45 LC

I once shot an 8" group with the P9S at 100 yards from sandbags.

Standard -- right out-of-the-box. I have a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 Casull with 8 3/8 inch barrel. Tight groups right out of the box from day one. You can shoot .45 Colt out of it as well if the recoil is an issue. Recoil does not feel that bad --- probably because it is a 4 lb. handgun. Nothing is customized -- it is right out of the box. It has a very smooth trigger and a compensated barrel, as well --- probably helps a lot. I've had it for 5 years -- and I am still impressed with it.
