Resize casing after bullet pull?

I would neck size them. If you do not have a neck sizer, pull the decapping pin from the sizing die and resize the whole case. Not a big project for only 25 cases.

If they were for use in a bolt gun, I would say it's mostly a personal preference.

But considering it's 30-30, I would assume it will to be fired from a lever gun, thus utilizing a tubular magazine. In this case, I would most certainly at least neck size them to obtain full neck tension, to minimize the risk of bullet set back.

Neck sizing, as a minimum, will be required. If there was a crimp, that'd be gone and so is the neck tension. You can set up your FL die to neck size, a trial and error thing, or just FL size 'em to save a lot of mucking around.

Yeah that's what I ended up doing. I'm trying to get to the range for load developement and I didn't want an extra variable.
