Do You have the set screw backed out?

The only time that happened to me was when I didn't realize that indent ball had popped out and rolled into the bolt hole. I used my son's magnet kit (think it was from Walmart) and the ball came right out.

Hope you figure it out soon, I know how frustrating things like that are. But unless the bolt is bent or broken a new one will probably do the same as your current one is doing.

Or canned air or a DataVac Electric Duster.

And be SURE to remove those locater studs before you turn that vacuum on.......don't ask how I know this!

Blow it out if you have a air compressor it will do the trick.

Try a full sheet or more of paper towel(s).
Twist it into a cylindrical shape.Push the pointed end into the hole, twisting in the same direction as the twists you created, as you get deeper, it will get tighter. Force the paper in twisting as you go.

You will eventually fill the cavity with paper towel. Keep twisting to try and clean out threaded cavity.
Try it dry and wet, oil, cleaner etc.

See if that helps clean it out.

If you don't have compressed air available removing the ram and flushing out the hole with a couple of shots of brake cleaner will also do the trick.
