I'm primarily a S&W girl when it comes to double-action revolvers.

But my favorite carry snubbie isn't one:

I like them all. My favorite is the D frame Colt, but I also have 3 inch N frames, a couple of 2 1/2 inch K frames, A Bulldog, and even Single Action Army sheriffs models.

Been carrying this Rossi for almost 15 years with thousands of rounds fired and still tight as ever. Bought new in 1994. Don't know what they are like now but, this revolver is built as well as any I have owned including S&W and Ruger.

C&L, as the gun thread saying goes, if you're up there in years and/or your health is failing, anyway you could adopt me?

My favorite to "shoot", under 4", is S&W Model 36 3" (Chiefs Special - .38SPL), but my usual CCW is S&W Model 38 (old model Body Guard) 2" J frame.

It may be just me but the signification of utilitarianism in a lanyard loop is priceless. It still surprises me from time to time, how much I use them.

Quading, motorcycles, rough country, boats... I just dig being able to snap a little idiot-cord to a handgun from time to time given circumstances.

Favorite Snub Less Than 4"

I used to have a snub I liked, but couldn't say it was always a pleasure to shoot. It was unusual and had an appeal of it's own.
I got it from a friend of mine who worked for the Border Patrol, and he fixed it special for an off duty piece. Traded it for my Browning Sweet Sixteen.
The gun was a .45ACP S&W 1917 with a 3 1/2" barrel, bobbed hammer, and stag grips. That was some kind of a wheelgun.

Without question, Ruger blued 3.75 inch birdshead Vaquero in .45 acp.

model 65 3" with ahrends boot grips.

My carries are a Taurus M85SSUL in .38, of course, and a .357 magnum 605 Poly Protector. I also have a 3" Taurus 66 that's super accurate and fun to shoot. Then I have this Rossi 3" M68, old Interarms gun, that's accurate.

Heck, but I even enjoy shooting my NAA minis.

I have deep admiration for anyone who shoots a snubby .357 polymer revolver.

My moms answer to which of her 4 sons she liked best. I like them all just the same. That applies to my snubs.

Her are Three I like but don't carry.

I have a 3-7/8's Smith 610 I thought I would never enjoy as much as I do.
