Got a lot to research so I can get my CCW after I establish residency.
I will be in the Tempe area.
All I need to do now is find the nice hunting/fishing/camping sites and I am golden.
I am leaving California for Az in November and was curious to know what all was entailed in obtaining a CCW there?
thanks in advance for any help.
To the Mods: please move this if i posted it in the wrong section.
What did you pay for it by chance?
Tikkas are a wonderful rifle. I have a T3 Hunter in .30-06 that I just love. Would rather have bought a Sako, but the Tikka was more affordable at the time.
A co-worked of mine was telling me about this. In partiular he mentioned one made by Olympic arms. I am unable to find any information on this, and the only one I can find at the Olympic Arms site is an A% upper that uses the Sten mags. Anyone have any links or reference material they care to...
I want a Glock 36, but undortunately I am going to have to wait to get that as I understand it isn't on the PROK approved list. Another one I'd love to have would be a Glock in .380, but I don't think they import those into the US as I have never seen one on shelves.
Wow, these silly things are like rabbits...they multiply.
I purchased my first Glock, a Glock 32 a few months back. Love shooting it. I even love my .40 S&W conversion barrel I bought for. It's a kick in the pants.
Well, I met up with a buddy of mine and his wife for a leisurely...
$1,000 for a Tikka? Wow...somebody is high on something. $1,000 is what I would expect to pay for a Sako, the high end sister gun of the Tikka. I got me a nice Tikka in .30-06 for $545 plus tax & DROS.
Capman....
You should head to your local range and try renting and firing a variety of weapons. That is an easy, and somewhat inexpensive way of figuring out what you like and don't like. Treat handguns like a car....would you buy it without taking it for a testdrive first?
But for...
Thanks for the info.
I am not entirely free yet, my move doesn't come til November. Can't wait to leave the PROK for the land of the free. Will finally be able to legally have high caps, get a CCW and open carry. Freakin sweet!
In November, I will be moving from the People's Republic of California to Arizona, and I have a good sized collection of firearms that I will be taking with me. Is there anything I need to do as far as registration once I arrive in Arizona? Or is it fine as long as they are registered to me in...
Are there any rifle makers out there that have one in production? I understand Marlin used to, but it has been a decade or more since they were in production.
Is it easy to do myself or do I need a gunsmith? I saw the stock I wanted at the Crossroads of the West gun show here in Costa Mesa over the weekend, and that's what spurred me wanting a new barrel and stock.
