If you can afford it they truly are and they surely will last as long as you do. A good scope can be kept when you change out rifle after rifle.
Keeping zero, repeatable turrets, and glass that can squeeze in the last bit of daylight to make that dream hunt a success.
I'm saving my pennies...
the 20 ga is because of weight. The 12's just get a little heavy when in the field all day hiking about.
And I was concerned that a non-semi auto 12 would give her a big shoulder punch. My beretta barely kicks...
The pink gun would be good for a kiddo but she really likes the nice wood...
Guys my GF's been buggin me........well since last dove season to get a shotgun.
Her Birthdays passed but I'm thinkin I may get her one as an early xmas present and give it to her in Sept.
Anyhow I need some suggestions. I was thinkin of a 20ga Wingmaster because I found a good deal on a new...
I use 200gn RNFP moly coated bullets.
My GF's XD would not feed SWC's at all.
The missouri bullets I bought a while back were dirty to shoot with the excess lube on 'em. But they all put holes in things.
the bushnell elite 3200 10x is good and can be had for less than 200
The nikon buckmaster is a variable 4-14 and can be had around 250. both are decent
the 700P has a 26" heavy barrel in a HS precision stock.
The standard SPS is a sporter weight barrel in a crappy plastic stock
The SPS tactical is 20" heavy barrel in a rubber coated houge stock
You lose velocity when you lose barrel length. The 700P is heavy and gets pretty tiring to carry...
well lets see, shes claiming less than .2 MOA at 1,000 yards?
I'd have a hard time believing she could do that at 50 yards.
Heres a picture of one of the former records held for 1,000 yard light gun and its just under 4.5 inches. So if she can do it in 1.5 I'd say that she should be a rich...
Horsemany, there new spokesmen is controversial at best and a murderer at worst.
and if you listended to every gun counter commando nobody would have an ar15 because they always jam and kimber would be the best pistol every made and glocks could be hit with a 500lb bomb and still shoot 1/16...
if you have the xmark pro trigger replace it with a rifle basix or timmney trigger.
If you have the old style send it out to get it adjusted.
A new stock couldn't hurt, stay away from HS precision.
A decent scope and rings would be good as well.
Maybe a new bolt knob.
if thats a .45 then the magazine is screwed up.
I beleive the De-lisle uses a standard 1911 magazine
Heres some pics of originals
http://www.rifleman.org.uk/The_DeLisle_carbine.htm
That one in the posted pics appears to have some sort of ejection block welded on and a scope mount attached. I...
The bass pro in DFW said that they wont carry them as they only carry "sporting firearms"
But yah they are overpriced on just about everything and I dont buy anything there anyhow. There is however an ar dealer right across the street.
I was practicing reloads before I went to an IDPA match the other day and my GF walked in and was pissed.
Had my belt, mag holders, hearing protection, and timer on.
She said "You're dropping your magazines all over the floor!"
Luckily my hearing protection kept me from having to respond:)...
I shot my pt1911 when I first started shooting idpa and steel matches.
Worked great and those heinie sights are very fast. Dawson Precision also makes a fiber optic front sight for it if you'd prefer to have one of those.
I'd recommend an S&A magwell, Comp-tac holster and mag pouches, wilson...
So what you're looking for is something like this?
All groups measured edge to edge. So minus .3 for actual center to center size.
.308 rifle 5 shot groups 100 yards
Shot off a bipod prone.
