1966 Colt Trooper .357 (original model, not MKIII).
With box, papers, test target. Unfired except by factory.
My first Colt. I've wanted a Python for a long time. They used to call this one the "poor man's Python" haha. :D
Now my only dilemma is whether to shoot it or not.
I mean, it isn't a...

It won't do anything, but having it on Obama's main site (it is only private link right now) would be pretty sweet...

Damn I want one.
I have a 638 Airweight (modern incarnation) and I love it. The bobbed hammer is awesome.
One of those would look mighty nice next to it in the safe haha
Hmm. There seems to be FAR more opinions on Pietta and Uberti than on the specific importers (which I have been told can vary quite a bit even if they're both from the same "parent" manufacturer).
Maybe I need a more effective way to ask the question or I should ask on a SASS forum.
Sorry man. I was going off the other poster saying the EXIF data matched, but didn't check it myself. The moderator just confirmed that they don't match, so I apologize.
However, I didn't call you any names, nor was I rude in my post. So I think it would be appropriate for us to just lower...
Well, according to this we now have evidence that the OP is lying. I didn't even think to check EXIF.
OP, when you take a picture. There is extra data recorded in the JPG file aside from the image. One of the posters here used this to confirm that all three pictures were taken and uploaded on...
Yes. I know that Rugers have the transfer bar and you can open the gate without half-cock, which is why I don't want one. I want something that really feels old school.
I'll give you triple! :p
Same with mine (to what everyone else said).
I can get it to "hang" open for a few seconds if I'm using a bore light or passing it to someone else (common courtesy to leave the action open).
But one quick jerk or tap on any part of it and it slams home.
^Why would a CMP employee with access to literally thousands and thousands of unused stocks go break into this guy's alarmed car to steal one?
Let's take a logical look:
1. Your car was not broken into. You would know. There would be damage, you were hear the alarm, etc.
2. Your hotel room...
New Question: EAA vs Heritage .22combo Colt SAA clones?
Both 6.5"
Both .22LR and .22WMR combo guns.
EAA Bounty Hunter - $239 local
Heritage Rough Rider - $165 local
Thoughts?
Interesting. I've never seen WMR in person, so that is why I was asking. That makes sense though.
As for .32 destroying .22 WMR out of a short barrel...do you have ballistic evidence to support that?
It isn't really recoil or that this would be a straight carry piece. I just thought it was a...
One is talking about the new short barrel stuff from Hornady and Speer...
They seem to think it has the potential to be better out of the pistol than LR. So now I'm curious.
Are ANY .22LR chambers capable of handling/firing .22 WMR? (Rifle, handgun, etc)
Or are they dimensionally different...
