Glock 30 45acp, purchased new in may, has about 3500 rnds down the range.

ruger p94 in the back, Springfield 1911 A1 Black/Stainless Loaded Combat, and the G30 again.
the G21sf has an ambidextrous mag release(except in Ca) so they do use different magazines than the original G21(except in Ca). There is no short frame model 30 yet. There has not been talk of a short frame in any other model, except by consumer speculation. If Glock does release another short...
1000' of ignition wire attatched to model rocket engine. RC airplane with payload drop system. Drop model rocket engine into stack. Land the RC airplane. Ignite the Rocket engine.
For instance you can stand at the 12 o'clock postion while an observer stands at the 3 o'clock position. The...
I just saw this in the recent issue of a gun rag I bought for a day spent
wasted in several airports.

As far as the mexican carry issue goes....I suppose you wouldn't have to scratch itches with your hand anymore.
I only own one striker fired handgun, a Glock Model 30. It is my understanding that the striker is partially cocked be the action of the slide moving back to chamber a round. The trigger bar completes the backward motion of the striker as you pull the trigger. When the striker reaches it's...
You know, you can drop a 29 barrel into a 30 and you'll have both. When you conceal carry you can use the 30 barrel to shoot 45 acp and then use the 29 barrel when you go hiking for them pesky ol bears. I vote for the G30
um... actually the parts that I listed are ALL glock stock parts. (read not voided warranty). How does spending thirty dollars double the price....not getting the math here i guess. Glocks are not for everyone, but that also means that they are for some people. If you don't like it don't buy it...
Don't write off the glock too quickly. The great thing about glock is that they too are customizable, and it's much cheaper/easier to do than some other types of handguns. For instance, if your biggest beef with the 19 was the trigger (which probably is the soft travel until you get to the...
If you are worried about accuracy, one thing to consider is that a da/sa pistol has two trigger pulls to get used to. Don't discount glocks or sw or springfield xd's before you try one. They have quasi-da trigger but it's the same every time, and nothing near a da revolver. It's not impossible...
I would rather stop a fight imediatly with a expanding self defensewithout killing an attacker than to shoot an attacker with a .22 to have him die from an infection a week later.
are you simply using it for target practice(full size if it fits well), or are you planning on obtaining a concealed weapons permit (compact if it fits)? If you get pointers from a qualified instructor and practice with what you purchase implementing the basics you should be fine with whatever...
just think of it like a hammer and a nail. When you hit a nail on the head with the hammer it always goes into the 2x4 better if the 2x4 can't flex with the blow. If it does flex the nail doesn't go in as deep.

Last time I checked (30 sec. ago) my glock has metal mags coated in polymer that is less than an eighth of an inch thick (the sum of both sides of polymer sleeve).
