My Navy is a safer place with out this guy in it. I don't know about anyone else, but I remember idiots who would pull there sidearm just to look at it and eject the cartridge and reload it all while hanging out in there work-center on the ship. I did 2 years In-port Security on a carrier, and...
Move to AZ!
:D
I think you can do a bullet button reload. I saw an AR competition that was taking place in California on YouTube once, where the guy was poking something in a hole to remove the spent mag, and insert a full one.
Someone was telling me that you should not reload .223 for the M4 platform because it will not work right with the shorter barrel and gas tube location. I say BS, but just wanted to make sure..
I think they would last several years. Realistically, years and years from what I have read about ammo. Maybe buff them every once in a while with some fine steel wool. But I'm no expert in this kinda stuff..
Sounds like a Taurus... We were told we would have had to pay shipping both ways for our gun, and we could find the address on the webpage. I'm buying Ruger next time.
I like the Howard Leight Quiet Bands. And my hearing is also getting bad due to the fact I lived on an Aircraft Carrier for years. Between the smoke pit and my berthing location, I got to hear launches, and slow turns all hours of the day..
I was responding to this part...
I must say that a lot of cartridge differences are still a little confusing for me, like 7.63 Mauser, and 7.62 Tok. Eye ball it!
