But finally I found that Mohawk 600 in 243 I had been looking for at a reasonable price.
$478.00 with tax. I pick it up tomorrow night.
The cloud of smoke looked to me like, what I would picture 3 or 4 pounds of Pyrodex or similar going off at once. Am I way off base? Or if I am way out line with this thread,Mods delete it

I just bought an old Rem 11. It did not have the steel friction ring. I am having a hard time finding 1 on the net. Anyone know where to find such a thing?

I need both wood stocks to restore this rifle. I believe it a Schoyen target model. As it has built in pedestals for a scope mount

This is what i will be replacing the old broken Ednar on my Mohawk 600
I believe it to be made in the Philippines. Would love to read some feed back from those that have them or have used them in the past.
