Don't like it much. I put a Mag extention on my PM9 and it made a big difference. The fit is much better=better shooting for me. I can go both ways, but having my pinky not on the grip is like having a splinter ithat you just cant get out=ANNOYING! (One "N" or two?)Oh well :D
A Daisy Red Ryder BB gun, Wal Mart edition ($24.95). 18 k Gold BB's to shoot right out that fine barrel. Custom engraving on the stock saying: My best friend. With me through the good times, never left me in the bad times.
And then I would take the remaining $1900 and buy a kick butt 1911
:D
Anklepocket,
I have a PM9 also and have the same problem as yours. I ended up polishing the feed ramp and the exterior of the barrel with my dremel tool ( I know you said no power tools) with felt tip pads and blue magic polish. Turned out great! And now my PM9 feeds that first round like...
I dry fire my G21 and PM9 all the time without thinking twice. I have done that at least 500 times or so. Never a problem. Now my ruger 22/45 OHH No!
It seems like 50% say never dry fire and the other 50% say go for it. I am a depends on what type of gun guy. So there's my take on it.
Labgrade.....It takes a strong human being to admit and recognize when he/she is at fault. I don't know what you have said or done. I ran across one thread a few weeks back where you were pretty "unreasonable" with someone and I made a comment about it and you apoligized to me and to the person...
I like this whole concept of a "Postal Competition". One thing it does is gets us all off our bums and out to the range. Even though it is a miserable 65 degrees out here.... Oh!..did I say that outloud? :neener:
I live in Nevada and my girlfriend is from Maryland. Her family thinks Las Vegas is this city of crime. Little do they know that the highest murder rate in the nation is D.C. (1hr from them). Not to mention that there anti-gun state has far more crime than Nevada.
It is nice to see a large...
Here is my take on it:
9mm-Kahr PM9
.380- Kel Tec 3-AT
.32- Kel Tec P 32
I own the PM9. Great gun. Just polish the feed ramp and put an extention on the 6 round mag and your good to go.
Heard nothing but great things about Kel Tecs. I am holding out for the 3-AT. The weight and size...
Looks like I am going to have to enter the "Open Class" this month. Havn't gotton me a .38/357 yet. Good luck every one!
Let me get my focused, concentration, very determined face on...:scrutiny:
One reason I look forward to buying "Combat Handguns" is to read his articles. I have never met Mr. Ayoob but, he sounds like a nice guy with much experience.
I do, but he is moving. So I am I. We got along when we all first moved into this neighborhood then a issue with his dog (not a LE dog) put a HUGE wall between us.:scrutiny:
Sounds great to me! I will just have to learn as we go. I have never entered any type of competition. This sounds like a good start and fun
I must confess: I'm good......I'm real good! :D
:D
Hey agony! I like the sound of that. I might have to try that tommorrow morning. If I report back to you all with a broken foot from falling down the stairs being half asleep you know who to blame........ok I guess that would be me.:D
