I love my .40 XDsc, I love my .40 Beretta 90-two (not very concealable), I love my .45 XD (also not very concealable). But since money is no object, you are a new shooter, and you want total reliability, I might suggest a HiPoint as I have NEVER heard a negative word about them other than that...
My bug out system is more of a multi-tiered nature. I have a wife and small children to worry about as well. We each have the "basic" bag that is good for anywhere from 72hrs-30days, then there is a "primary" pack that will extend things a bit more, up to 90-120 days, then there is the...
While I love the idea, and feel that the 2A actually means we should all be able to own ANY weapon that is avail. to the military, I don't think I want one. FA is fun, but VERY expensive. By expensive, I don't mean the cost of the gun either, I mean the cost of the ammo. Besides, who can carry...
Not here in Minnesota. You have to have a "permit to purchase". It requires a background check identical to the "permit to carry" check. Then you still have to go through NICs too. And if you are a regular purchaser, as in every week or more than once a week, NICs will make you wait. I'm certain...
Correct, but if you loosen the cap to the non-pressurized position, the coolant will still circulate and the tape will get you home.:neener::banghead::neener:
I saw them last night. I actually would have ordered one, but it says "Budsgunshop.com" on the back. I will not pay for the privilege of advertising someones product.
Okay, I've been with my SO for nearly 9 years now, we have 2 beautiful daughters together, and she REALLY wants to be married. She understands my apprehension, and I won't get into that here, she shares and understands my enthusiasm about the 2A and guns. Additionally, she has waited long enough...
Armoredman, can you please post a source for that Mexico thing? I have been under the impression that firearm ownership by civilians in Mexico was strictly forbidden.
Switzerland comes to mind for some reason.....
It seems like KY is no different from any other state. Texas doesn't admit Dallas is part of the state, MN hates Minneapolis, IL hates Chicago, etc.....It looks like the liberal hippie freaks feel more secure in large numbers and rely upon the kindness of others for their welfare checks. Just...
lol, guns are the wise investment. You can't eat gold, shoot food with gold, they aren't talking about banning any type of gold.......Look what has happened to other investments, mutuals, bonds, 401Ks, etc.......Guns have only gone up or stayed the same. Sooo many people have lost their security...
Empty chamber, open action. ALWAYS! No exceptions, except as stated above, about crossing a fence or downed tree when hunting.......Muzzle control is key, but only one part of the equation.
The amazing thing about this gun is the lack of recoil. The system was actually designed for FA and burst firing. It's system directs the gas and energy down rather than back. It allows some extremely accurate grouping in FA and burst. Here's some video KRISS future weapons vid.
The only problem...
