I've got a P13.45 Ltd, very nice gun. The one thing I *would* change are the springs in any factory hi-cap mag you have. Every hi-cap I've ever owned had really weak springs, but this is easily remedied by replacement with Wolff springs.
One other weak point on the factory gun, IMO, is the...
Has anyone here attended Dave Lauck's Small Arms Training Academy? How does it compare with Thunder Ranch, et al? It looks interesting to me because it's only about a days drive from where I live.
I guess that first mountain snow we had must have changed their minds. ;)
We just bought a mountain home between Livermore and Red Feather Lakes. It's the boonies, relatively speaking, and mountain lions and black bears are prevalent. Beautiful place, great house, and lovely views.
I'll...
Seems strange that Norris has been so successful by doing so many things very poorly. The one that bugs me the most is his singing. Didn't the SOCOM guys in Afghanistan use the "Walker, Texas Ranger" theme song to interrogate Taliban prisoners? :what:
Wow, a decocker that is prone to failure. So why hasn't CZ been sued back to the stone age by now? This sounds like one of those very rare situations where that would be warranted.
Both responses were excellent. I'm afraid they'll have little effect on someone so obviously in need of theraphy as Mr. Bellamy. That kind of mindless hatred seldom responds to logic.
I don't own an AK (I've always preferred ARs, FALs, and M1As), but I do believe I'm gonna go out a buy one...
While it's a lousy piece of legislation, consider:
(1) Most legislation is lousy, just business as usual.
(2) It's a good 2nd Amendment bill, as it makes the Republicans look good.
If accurately reported, this is indeed shocking and unexcusable police behavior. This has nothing to do with the 2nd Amendment, or Communists, or a student's age (who cares?). I can't believe some of the comments in this thread. Sounds to me like some people exercising Constitutionally...
Sgt Bob,
Developers are one of my pet peeves. They're ruining the country in a lot of places, and especially along the front range of the Rockies here in Colorado. I went to a gun show last year and a guy had a beautiful Ruger M77 in .416 Rigby on his table. I remarked, "Damn, that's quite...
This brings up a related question, who makes a good set of gloves for shooting? Something that will keep your hands reasonably warm and not unduely restrict your finger movement. Any thoughts?
Dobson was a fool. He should have kicked the old lady out, built 200 cheap houses that all look alike on the 41 acres, and sold them each for $500,000. His actions will cost him his "Ruthless Developer's Club" membership. :D
Not many people have that kind of open mind and are able to question their own beliefs. Too bad.
Anybody know the full Mark Twain quote about "guns are the most harmless of things"?
