I just got a mid-length BCM 16" upper. I put it on my 6920 lower with an H2 buffer. The buffer spring has close to 1000 rounds on it. I've put 100 rounds of wolf through the BCM without issue.
Just wanted to note my experience because I have read that BCM gas ports are smaller than most...
The Tavor has grabbed my interest. All the reviews are about the same, great gun with a bad trigger.
I'd like to hear from people who have had one and decided to get rid of it.
Went shooting yesterday with a friend. He has a Glock 23 Gen 3. I have a Glock 19 Gen 4, 17 Gen 4 and a 27 Gen 4. I noticed that both my 27 and his 23 had much better triggers than my 17 and 19. The triggers on the 40's feel like a heavy single action trigger. While in the 9's the break is just...
My wife is wanting to get a ccw pistol. We have gone to the LGS's and she has handled all the leading candidtes, the S&W Shield, Sig 938, Kahrs, Glock 42, S&W Bodyguard and Ruger LC pistols. The 238 is what felt best to her and the one that she is excited about owning. So, that is the one I'm...
I don't know much about CZ's but I have a chance to trade for a CZ SP 01. This is the one with the safety and a metal frame with the poly coat. Less than 100 rounds have been through the gun. I would be looking to sell it and I would like to know what I could expect to get out of it in a private...
My wife has expressed interest in going through a pistol training course. She has been through a CCW course. I would like to find a more in depth beginners course in Ohio, preferrably one with a round count no higher than 500. So, if you know of or have gone through a course like this I would...
What do you all think is the value of a German made Mk V Deluxe chambered in 300 Weatherby Mag.? Or what about trade value? The rifle is in excellent condition except for a scratch below the ejection port. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.
Just curious, what were the BCM standard 16" mid-length barrelled uppers, no rails or hand guards, going for before things got stupid? Thanks for your help.
I would like to know if a mid length system produces higher velocities than a carbine length system, with all other factors being equal. I would like to know if anybody has done this comparison using a chronograph and what the results were. I have googled and searched and I can't find any actual...
The background checks seem to be the most likely to have support and a chance at being enacted. I like to look at things from the antis' perspective so that I can come up with a counter to their points. But I am having issues with this one.
As I see it there is a chance that this measure...
Just have to get this off my chest. So, I have been looking around on the internet and I am seeing some bulk 5.56 in stock and ready to ship. Of course it is going for about $1 a round. I know that a big foot sighting is more common than in stock 5.56. I am asking everyone to please resist the...
I want to get some steel targets. So I have been looking at various manufacturers. I have seen a couple that use a cariage bolt run through a hole in the target as the method to hang them. So, my question, is there any danger of a ricochet if that bolt is hit straight on? I know the chances are...
Some of you may have noticed that I have been posting alot lately. The feed back has been awesome. I have one more quick question. dsgarms.com has Colt 6920's for $995. My question is, is that there normal price or is it a temporary sale price? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hopefully tomorrow I will be going and either picking up or placing an order for an AR. What I need from you all is your first hand experience. One of the two rifles that I am looking at has a 1:7 twist. PMC 55 gr. is readily available where I am at and that is what I usually shoot. What I would...
Hello everyone. I have been looking at AR's for a while. A LGS has Colt 6920's, the base configuration, on sale for $1030.00. So, I have a couple of questions for those who are in the know.
1. Is that a good price for that rifle?
2. Are AR prices, in general, up because of fears about what...
Hello all. I am wanting to upgrade the sights on my Sig 226. The problem is, I love the stock, bar and dot, sights and I can not find a tritium version of them. So, I would like to here from Sig users who can let me know how the Heinie's compare to the stock Sig, bar and dot, sights. Any...
Hello all, I am primarily a handgun guy but am now looking into getting my first rifle. I have researched a number of different rifles and am still looking but pretty much everything I have found on the Tikkas has been quite good. That said, there isn't a ton of stuff out there. Usually I hit...
I have been reading some threads about people building their own AR's and this has got me looking into doing one. However, I started pricing componets and it seems like it wouldn't be any cheaper to build one over buying one. So, I have a couple of questions 1) How much should it cost to build...
I have read some other posts on this topic but none have really answered my question. I would like to know what this does for the standard Glock trigger without any other modification (i.e. different conectors, springs, etc.). I would like to hear from people who have done this and what changes...
Quick question. My wife has taken a liking to the Sig Mosquito. I was just wanting to know if it will function with anything cheaper than CCI mini mags?
I know that these are what Sig says to run and that compared to full size calibers the CCI's are still really cheap. But compared to the other...
