Both SR9c's I've shot have a much lighter trigger pull than my Glock 26 9mm.
I understand that the Glock firing pin is partially cocked, and by pulling the trigger your are completely cocking the firing pin, as well as removing a firing pin block out of the way. The claim is that if the...
I lock the front and rear door by deadbolt, and installed a bedroom door handle that requires a key and can be locked from the inside.
I figure if they are able to get in the house without me hearing them, I will definitely hear them when they try and get into my bedroom.
I've been meaning...
Thanks guys. I think I'll carry it as my "BBQ" knife.
Not gonna carry it at work or when I'm out in the pasture, just when the wife and I go out on the town or to church on Sunday!
In winter, especially when wearing a jacket, I love the $15 Glock combat holster for my G26. It keeps the gun really tight to my body and an untucked shirt will cover it adequately with no printing.
During warmer times of year, I carry a Crossbreed Supertuck IWB between my boxers and my...
My mother just gave me one of my Christmas presents, and it's a Benchmade Pinnacle 750 plain edge black coated ATS-34 blade (It has a Titanium Mono-Lock).
The box it came in looked fairly old, so I decided to do a little research on the knife. It seems that the Pinnacle 750 has been...
I had one and loved it. It was like a Walther PPS for a few hundred bucks less.
Easy to carry because it was single stack, didn't recoil much more than my G26, dual strike capability (If you have a light primer strike, pull the trigger again) External safety, and the trigger wasn't half bad...
Form follows function. If it works, I'll use it. If not, you can keep it.
Same reason I carry a G26. It's ugly and has no soul, but damn if it doesn't go bang every time.
Shipwreck, what kind of holster is that and does the kydex dig into your side much IWB?
Very nice Berettas, I've never saw a 90-two before, but I like it.
Same here in NC. I had to wait about 3 months before I received my permit. I don't think it's because of the numbers, just the incompetent local government dragging their feet as usual.
I once went into a gun shop looking for a holster for my Taurus PT1911. I carried the gun in cased, unloaded and locked open, just to show safe so I could take it out on the counter and try out a few different holsters in the shop.
One of the store owners proceeds to pick up my gun, check it...
Not sure I understand this comment.
If you mean a good shooter as in a defensive weapon, then I agree you need a modern 3-dot set up for faster target acquisition, but between my 3-dot set ups and my 2 Colt's with GI sights, I'll take the GI sights because they leave less guessing for sight...
I bought a G19 and decided the grip was a little too long to facilitate CCW for myself. I traded it on a G26 and added a Pearce Grip +1 extension, and although I can get all fingers on it comfortably, it is still easier to conceal than the 19.
For range duty, I use a G19 mag with a sleeve...
My wife shoots her LCP much better than I do, but I shoot the Glock 26 with Pierce extension much better than her.
I have huge paws, and hers are tiny. It works out well though, because I can conceal the Glock as easily as she can conceal the LCP.
I have a Buckmark Practical with fiber optic front sight and URX grips.
I LOVE the grips, but it seems as if I'm less accurate with the big green dot than with standard sights because it covers so much of the target at a distance. I actually prefer the old style G.I. sights on my 1903 pocket...
Browning Buckmark. The URX grips feel awesome, and I've newver had any problems at all. Go hold both the Ruger and the Browning. The MK series has an odd grip angle, and the 22/45 is all plastic. This is coming from a Ruger fan.
