Gun Friendly States 2015
According to Guns & Ammo Magazine, South Carolina ranked 14th, and Washington ranked 40th as the best gun friendly states. Also, anyone who can legally own a handgun, can have a loaded handgun in their glovebox or console in SC.
I love mine and I have small hands. I shoot it best withe the flush 5 round mag with my little finger under the mag. Springfield has a special now where you get a 5,6,and 7 round mag.
I also used Gold Dot data because they are also plated. I don't have a crono, so I fired 5 factory rounds, and then I started firing my loads using Accurate AA5. When I got up to 9.7 gn. I stopped. My empty shells were landing about 6 inches from the factory shells. The accuracy was very...
My CW45 with 230gn plated bullets likes a COL of 1.240. On Accurate Powders website, they show a COL of 1.237 for Berrys 230gn RN. My CW45 likes 230gn bulets, but doesn't do well with the lighter ones.
I ordered mine on 11/30. They left Spokane,Wa. on 12/10 and were on my porch in SC on 12/11. They are nice looking bullets, and I've never had any that were better packed!
Don Hume
I have a JIT slide for my Kahr PM9 and T9. They keep the gun tight to your body, and you don't know it's there. I also have their IWB. They are both excellent holsters, and I bought mine from Gunners Alley also. Best buy for the buck!
There is an article in the October issue of Shooting Times, covering all of the 7mm and 6.5mm cartridges. He said to take your choice between the 7mm08 or the 260. Either will take a deer at 300 yds.
AA5 Edition 5.0
This latest edition gives the range of 7.1 to 8.3 for a Berrys 230gn bullet at a COL of 1.237. I have been using 7.7 to 8.0 at 1.24 with good results in all of my 45's with no unburnt powder. AA5 was developed for the 45ACP.
New Berrys
Got an e-mail on the 8th saying mine were shipped. I bought two 250 count boxes. Total price was $99.90. Thats .20 per round. Now I need to figure the load data. I'm wondering if I should use the data for Gold Dots. Any thoughts?
Their new load data is now out. It is actually Western Powder and includes Ramshot powders. They added a lot of new bullets and data. You can google Acccurate Powder to find the new edition.
Trouble with w231
I was having the same trouble last winter. I placed a 2 inch washer on top of the powder, and that extra weight seemed to solve the problem. I have since switched to AA2. It meters perfect every time and throws the charge that is the number of the disc hole. For example...
