i have never seen the trapezoidal sites for sale
i almost did not buy a steyr because of them
now i love them and find them very easy to use...wish they had tritium inserts....
franklin gun (south suburb..franklin) is one of the nicest stores i have done business with. family owned, friendly, clean and they have one of the better local inventories. will negotiate and prices are decent but not rock bottom.
specialty arms II (southeast burb smyrna) also has a good...
the trailside is a great shooter....maintenance is a breeze....i have never hada gun related FTF or malfunction...my wife even likes to shoot it
i have 4 mags...never any problems with mine although they are expensive for what they are ... $30-35!!!!
i have a glock 36...perfectly reliable....still a little chunky if discrete carry is your goal
do not shoot it well at all "stock"...the addition of a pearce grip extender helps me a lot. plus it gives you another round if that is important to you
the 30s grip did not agree with my hands...
it is an easy gun to field strip ... do you have the manual?
bill wilson also produced a nice video on how to maintain it...if you have questions about proper techniques and procedures on maintaining the gun i would recommend you pick one up....

i will check with my favorite local dealer to see what he can do ...he has stocked a lot of HK in the past...although i do know they have been a pain to get product out of recently
i have always liked this pistol
none of the local dealers can get it...never seen it at a show....have not even seen a used one in 2 years
are these guns still being made....and if so...why are they not importing them in any quantity?
