The little Astra Constable is very similar to the Walther PPK.
For a small gun, it`s surprisingly easy to shoot.

Had an old computer that was having fits. So I did a little computer troubleshooting on it, with an 870 Wingmaster and a MAK-90.

I`ve never been real fond of rubber grips, unless the gun in question had seriously heavy recoil.
The last few weeks I`ve been replacing rubber with wood.

This morning I went to the gun shop to get some primers.
Sitting on the counter was a lonely looking little Smith 19-6.
Some lout who didn`t appreciate it had just traded it off.
Always has a soft spot for stray cats and stray S&Ws, so I gave it a new home.
For 20 years I`ve been saying that someday I would get a Smith & Wesson model 10. But always put it off because the model 10 is common as dirt, and I can pick up one of those anytime.
But when I ran across this one, I just couldn`t resist.
Model 10-5 from 1973. I doubt if it has had a full box...
I did a search that showed that there have been a couple of other threads about the Braverman revolver. But they are several years old. Thought a new thread might turn up some new info.
As near as I`ve ever been able to find out, this gun was never commercially produced. Just tool room...
