I need help to identify this ammo. Obviously it is 5.56mm and as you can see by the bullet it is lead core but I would like to know the manufacturer and any other info available.
I have these two stock parts and need help identifying what rifle they came from. Not sure they are from the same gun or two different ones. Thanks in advance for any help.
Problem solved.
I have owned and used Beast Enterprises, now known as MOA Targets (moatargets.com) target stands for several years and want to compliment them on a well made sturdy all metal target stand. Not only are they well made and easy to set up they have a lifetime warranty as well. I was recently at...

I called and left a message to say I was suspending my purchases for an undetermined time.
I have an old 870 and recently purchased a new 20" smooth bore barrel for it. As I installed it I felt a lot of resistance when the barrel extension contacted the barrel support. I had to use a rubber mallet to seat the barrel and in order to remove the barrel I needed to use the foregrip as a...

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) - People licensed for concealed handguns can take their weapons into restaurants serving beer and wine under a new state law.
Gov. Bill Richardson signed the measure on Wednesday. It takes effect in...
There is a very interesting discussion on the 2nd Amendment going on right now on the Glenn Beck program. If you haven't tuned in, it will be repeated over the weekend, at least on Directv.
In another post I mentioned I have a near new condition 1911 that FTF and FTE. The FTF was solved by a local gunsmith but the FTE continues even after he worked on it. It was suggested I send the gun to either Cylinder-Slide or Heirloom Precision but both say it will take months to do the work...
Last Monday I purchased a Colt Government MK IV, Series 70. Manufactured in 1978. It is in great shape, almost new but for one problem. I have only fired it twice, that is the first two days I had it. I used hollow points and had FTF's as well as FTE's. I took it to a gunsmith and he polished...
I have a Ruger Redhawk .44 magnum with a 5.5 in. barrel and fire both Buffalo Bore Heavy .44 Magnum +P+ and Garrett's 44 mag Hammerhead ammo and was toying with the idea of porting the gun for better recoil control. I'd like some thoughts other members have on the issue of porting this firearm.
I need some help identifying an old bayonet given to me by my half brother nearly 50 years ago. I have lost contact with him and after much searching still have not found him. He served in WWII and brought it back from the war.
I would like to get some input on these two bullets. Pros or cons of either or no big difference at all. I have both and have practiced a bit with both but not extensively yet. I am planning a future trip to Alaska to photograph the landscape and will be carrying a 50 lb camera pack so a...
I have been trying to contact both NM and NC authorities to no avail to determine why NM honors a NC CCW's but NC does not honor a NM CCW. Does anyone have any information as to the differences in both states’ regulations that may be responsible for this?
I don't know if this was posted before (I did a search but didn't find anything related) but I thought it would be interesting to show.

Is there any reason why a 30 round mag for the SAR will not fit the MAK-90? I notice the feed area is cut down on the SAR III E. G. Wieger mag and not on the Chinese mag.
I placed an order with DC Engineering aka rifletech.com about 2 months ago and have been patiently waiting for the order. About a week and a half ago I started calling to find out what happened with the order and the phone just goes to a message to leave my info and the call will be "returned...
I just tried to kill a rattler that was attempting to enter my house with 8 rounds of .45cal snake shot from about 5 feet away and it barely fased him. I'm a good shot and had pleanty of time to aim but all it did was open a small wound. I have him trapped under a bucket but not sure why the...
I signed up for this several months ago but was able to obtain my Utah CCW before this became available but I thought it might be of interest to others.
Dear Interested Student,
You entered your name and city as being interested in taking a Utah Multi-State Concealed Weapons permit class...
I have a Remington 870 that I've owned for about 25 years. It is chambered only for 2 3/4" shells but it has been suggested that I should have one that will handle 3" shells for protection against grizzly. I'm planning a trip to Alaska and read that the larger shell is highly recommended...
I have a dilemma, I'm planning a trip to Alaska sometime in the next two years and would like to find out if anyone has had any experience using either Buffalo Bore's .340gr or Garrett Cartridge's .330 gr .44 cal hard cast ammo to either hunt for or defend you from black bear or grizzly...
