OK I have another question. I saw a very nice Colt 1908 in nickle the other day but I was told it was Teflon coated. The coating is clear and it looks a bit like Parkerizing. My question is: Is there any way to remove the coating without damaging the original plating??

Hmmm? I think you may have meant that the only thing that is pictured that is NOT junk is the red horse. However...it's a 308 so it qualifies as junk too. Hell my mini van does better 0-60 than that slug. So my vote is EVERYTHING pictured is junk. (is that a Vlada?)
