Hey all. I just picked up a 1950 Winchester model 24 SXS in 12 ga. It has two sets of barrels one 30" one 26". In very good to excellent condition. I have searched the web and there seems to be very little info out there on this gun and none of the ones I have seen have two barrel sets or any deluxe checkering as this one does.. Anybody know anything about this gun?

It's a nice field gun. Like it's 21 sibling, it has a bit of a cult following but not the big price.

I've not seen a two barrel set on a 24. Bet the longer set are choked tight like a trap gun and the 26" set choked open for skeet.

Like all old shotguns, a good smith should look it over before use. With his/her OK, it should give decades of service.

Post this down on Harley's Forum, the regulars there can help more than I.
