On the Smoking Gun website, they showed a copy of John Kerry's demands for food and supplies that his staff sends to hotels prior to his stay. It's pretty "fruity" and I don't mean as in fruit. He requires some weird stuff.
The Glocks are like carrying a revolver - no safeties, just simple defense. Pull the trigger and it goes bang. Can't go wrong with the Glock. The smallest Glock is the 26. The 19 is also small.
We have good gun laws here in Oklahoma - very few! The laws are clear here -- if you are threatened in your own home you may shoot or use force. Crime has gone down. Nobody is breaking into houses in my neighborhood. Even the women are packin.
I live in Oklahoma. I've hired illegal aliens for about 10 odd jobs in the past 2 years! These are jobs that I couldn't get a US Citizen to do for $100/hr.
I own a Kahr MK9 and it has been good. I don't shoot it very much. I don't know anybody who has put a lot of rounds through one. There are quite a few K9s out there used.
Has anybody put 10,000 rounds through a Kahr?
I love my Glocks. Great guns. The only real downside to the Glocks are what military folks say is their ability to shoot rapidly at targets with quick recovery. I heard a Navy Seal talking about that the Glocks he shot were just too light and that the Sig Navy Seal model was perfect for quick...
I've always heard that Glocks are "inaccurate." I own one. I tend to shoot just fine with it. I'm not a competition shooter. Whether I shoot somebody in the eye or the nose is not a real big deal to me. I figure I've got 17 rounds + 1 in the chamber of chances to shoot some bum burglar...
I have shot my Glock 17 for 1000 rounds, no cleaning, and no malfunctions. It even smells dirty. The Glock 26 I have I'm not cleaning either. I want to see how it does.
If I didn't clean my Kahr, I'm not sure how well it would do. It likes to be "wet and clean." The Sig would probably...
My wife prefers our G26
My wife has access to all of my guns, but prefers the G26 over the Kahr and Sig I have. We also rented a CZ RAMI 2075 9mm and a Ruger prior to buying some of our guns.
My wife likes the simplicity of the G26 and it's like carrying a revolver or having one in the...
I'm not sure what they'd be worth considering that there are many of these things available. Colt made hundreds of thousands of these up to WWII as well as the 1903. The value in the old colt vest pocket autos are the unique grips, original grips, and all original pieces.
I did not have a good experience with the Tomcat. It hurt my hand and was just plain weird to shoot. I'd prefer a NAA Guardian or an old Colt 1908. I have a Colt 1908 with a grip safety that is good. The Kel Tecs are pretty popular. The Tomcat bit my hand like a tomcat.
Can't beat the P239. If there is a gun comparable it's the G23. I believe the P239 is the back up gun issued to ATF agents and other highly funded government agencies. The P239 might be a little more sophisticated than the Glocks, but the P239 goes bang every time. It likes a little more...
My brother in law is a skilled mechanical contractor and decided to work in Afghanistan for a year working on bases and other special projects. Prior to his trip he had made some purchases such as a Ruger 9mm and some rifles.
When his year stint was up and he came back, he wanted to buy a...
