I'm going to have to strongly disagree. There are plenty of other ways to support the troops. It can be something as easy as letting them know they are appreciated; I've talked to many and any and all asked have expressed their thanks and gratitude.
It could be something more like...
I've not seen the shirt but I've heard the phrase plenty of times. I've never made the jump from the phrase to the 2nd Amendment. I've always looked at it as a "support the troops" comment.
**Edit, and I also think the lady is off her rocker...
We always use a family member or a close friend who lives right around the corner. I know they are familiar with firearms in general and are familiar with what I own so I'm not worried about them.
That said, anything left behind is locked up while we are gone. When we are out of town we just...
Never personally, but I've had friends stopped while carrying. Some got tickets, some didn't. Some had their firearm(s) secured, some did not.
The best was a friend stopped while carrying his new (at the time) KelTec P3AT. He mentioned it to the cop (no duty to inform here) and they got...
+1 on the Super Sniper. I have the SS10x42M (10x, side parallax knob) on my 700LTR and love it. If you don't mind a fixed power I think you will be more than impressed with the value you'll get out of a Super Sniper.

I had to laugh when I read the initial post and I've also got to agree with the post quoted above. I've been kicked by a horse (and cow-kicked, stomped, bitten and otherwise abused by them) and I wouldn't want to willingly feel that again.
I'd recommend the Super Sniper line of scopes if you aren't opposed to a fixed power scope. I've got the 10x on my rifle, but they also have a 16x and 20x.
Etched glass reticle and designed to handle .50BMG recoil for $299.
They are available through www.SWFA.com but their site seems to be...
I always liked how one of my instructors put it...
It's better, easier, and cheaper to avoid a violent situation than try and extricate ones self from one.
I've yet to have a situation where I felt I was going to need my firearm, but I have had some encounters when I was younger that had the...
Very nice point. I've often read letters submitted to editors that have made me cringe.
Aside from using proper grammar, spelling and basic writing techniques what you write can be just as important. Pick a few key points you wish to make and do so clearly and concisely.
Know your...
I've been using Black Hills 175gn and find it to be really nice and consistent. The price ain't bad either and I had it in a couple of days. Just be sure to check stock... he sells a lot but does get it back in quickly.
Some of a friend that we took a while back at our hunting camp...out messing around in a dried up wet weather pond one night...
I'm not sure where the other pics went, those are all I could find.
Super Sniper line from www.SWFA.com
I'll have to go along with the others who mentioned them already. I have the SS10X42M on my LTR and love it.
The scopes are all fixed power and come in 10X, 16X and 20X with mil dot reticles and target turrets that can be rezero'd.
At $24 more than...
If you want Leopold, look at the Mark 4s. They would probably suit your needs pretty well and fit with the overall theme of the rifle you are putting together.
Check out the Super Sniper line of scopes offered by www.SWFA.com . They are really surprising for a $299 scope. They offer a 10X, 16X and 20X scope. They also offer a 10X with side parallax adjustment for $399.
Read some of the reviews...while I've not read of anyone pulling off their $1200...
Figured I could get two things in one picture that answered the original question...;)
The rifle pictured is my most recent purchase and after my wife got done shooting it the other day she informed me that it would be ok to sell hers because she wants one more similiar to mine. lol
Some...
It depends on the scope you purchase. Based on the specs of the scope it will have a certain diameter tube, commonly that will be 30mm or 1". Purchase rings accordingly.
You might try www.SWFA.com They have some great prices and also have a forum where they will answer questions about what...
